Andrew Marvell's odes are Horatian and Cowley's odes are Pindaric in style. Pope's "An Epistle to Dr. Arbuthnot" is Horatian. Dr. Samuel Johnson's "London" (modeled on the third satire of Juvenal) and "The Vanity of Human Wishes"( modeled on the tenth satire of Juvenal) are great works
