Oh wow Tiffany, you are so very like me! I am an obsessive collector of watercolour, gouache, pastel and acrylic…! However, I’m way worse than you as I am a complete novice, and other than play about with my collection that I could open an art store with (I forgot about my paper obsession) 😮 I have a suspicion that I collect so much as a way of avoiding the blank page and my complete lack of confidence. You have a new subscriber. I am from Scotland, hence my spelling being a little different, and my collection being more European based, I have the odd tube of Daniel Smith, and 11 tubes of M Graham, but oh my goodness, they are so expensive here! M Graham is almost impossible to find, but Daniel Smith is now becoming more widely available. Anyway, enough of my yapping! 👩‍🎨🖌🎨🎃

Think of your collection as an investment in happiness and eventually you’ll get around to using them. Practice makes perfect. Have fun…that’s what art is about.
