Watery Eye: I always get some antihistamine eye drops or just take an oral antihistamine. I find that helps a ton with my allergies and watery eyes. 🤗 also the reason I use that Mac eyeliner that takes FOREVER. Lol.

Hi Kelsey, do the eye drops/oral antihistamine help if you don't have allergies? If I understood Violet, she's like me in that makeup makes our eyes water - but they're not watery on their own.

@@m8272m if you try the antihistamines and they work, you're allergic to something in the makeup and that's why it's doing it, it's probably worth trying and seeing! It won't work if you're not allergic to it though, some peoples eyes are just sensitive but a lot of people think they're not allergic to anyhing when they are allergic to some things just very mildly and/or they're newly allergic to something as allergies come and go in cycles ^^

Mi'el Blanquea Esquivo Hey! So I guess it really depends. It could be a harsh chemical that irritates the eye, an allergy to a certain ingredient, dry eyes, or a combo. If it’s a real problem I would talk to a medical professional like an eye doc or a primary care and see what they recommend. Some drops are OTC some are prescription. It’s worth a try and if it doesn’t work maybe try switching up makeup products to see if it improves that way. Kind of trial and error. 🤗 I know for me some makeup products just do me that way no matter what. Hope this helped! As a little PS to this I use Zaditor :)

Hi Violet, I'm an optometrist and your eye watering is probably from dry eye. Try some artificial tears on a regular basis to help prevent tearing. Beautiful look!

The tear ducts are in the inner corners top and bottom. If foreign material gets there they will flush it out. So firstly be glad yours are working great and you do not have stys instead. Possibly moistening the eyes with saline before application will keep the makeup out of that general area but I doubt it. Worth at try. Avoiding these areas is about the only way you can stop the watering unfortunately. Love everything you do. Your choice of colors and graphic style makes me happy :)

TO STOP YOUR EYES FROM WATERING : So this is what i do cuz i have the same problem i hope it works for you too. What i do is before i put makeup on i put a towel of hot water on my eyes then i do a little pressure beneath and on top of the eye it helps kinda close the tearduck and i do that for like one minute. Just like apply some pressure all over the area of the tearduck. Hope it'll help ! Luv ya 💜

in makeup school I learned to tell the client to lean their head back and really fast/hard breath in through the nose (like doing buggarsuggar) it will help the tears to stop, just keep taking those fast hard deep breaths with head tilted back until the eye feels clear of tears.
