Did I just nab Kiss of the Highlander again? I did that with another Highlander book! Oh my!! My husband is helping me figure out a system on Google Docs where I can see everything I have, whether there's a stepback, what series, etc. It's going to be super helpful, haha!

I am suggesting 4 authors Molly Harper, Nice girls don't have Fangs, Kerrelyn Sparks Love at Stake, Nina Bangs, Castle of Dark Dreams if you goggle her there are book trailers of some of her books, Sherrelyn Kenyon Dark Hunter Series 22 books in series so far. Nice thing older books that can be found at secondhand book stores.

Some of my favorite historical romance authors are: Judith McNaught, Jude Deveroux, Jennifer Ashley, Julie Garwood, Johanna Lindsey, Hannah Howell, Kathleen E Woodiwiss (her stepbacks are HARD to find!), Heather Graham has some historical romances (don't know about stepbacks), and finally Sabrina Jeffries. There are lots more of course and this was a fun video. Thanks for sharing! (Also jealous of your bookstore lol, the closest one to me is an hour away.)

Don't know if you've heard of the thriftbooks site. I get most of my used books there. I just go for the 'good' or 'very good' and have pretty good luck in book quality.

Kristin Hannah YESS!! I saw on the shelf The Great Alone and it’s one of my favorites by her. I won it but I did listen to it on audiobook. The Nightingale and The Four Winds. But be forewarned that a lot of people say The Four Winds is slow. I absolutely loved it but I did except it…it’s about the friggen Great Depression people!🤣. Tessa Dare is one of my favorite historical romance authors!!! So happy I found your channel!

Daring and the Duke is book 3 in the Bareknuckle Bastards series. I really strongly recommend you read them in order. Book one tells a lot about what happened to the 3 boys, and you don’t want to miss that by reading them out of order! It’s like her Rules of Scoundrels series. You’ll miss important stuff about how they all met if you read them out of order! People say you can read any series as standalone, but I disagree and feel you miss out on the whole story if you do 🤷‍♀️ Sarah Maclean is one of my favourite Historical Romance authors. Also Lorraine Heath (who has several awesome series as well- the Sins for All Seasons 6 book series will gut you!!) and Lisa Kleypas. I’ve read all of their books, except for one elusive Kleypas book that I can’t get my hands on! (I saw it on Amazon for over $300 and just can’t do it! Maybe I’ll luck into it one of these days)

@@mamaneedstoreadromance it’s called “ Forever My Love” and was written in 1988 I think? So one of her first novels. Actually, now that I’m looking at my list of “must reads” I see one more of hers that I haven’t read “Where Passion Leads” (also, currently over $600CAD on Amazon 😱). I’m in Canada and the city where I live has only one used bookstore so it’s difficult to find these oldies. 🫤

I love these videos! I am too anxious to film in public, but I love used book shopping. I just found the whole Little House on the Prairie series by Laura Ingalls Wilder in really great shape. It is great you found Can't Help Falling. What a great store.

I understand! They're too expensive for me to get usually, too. I usually read them on Kindle Unlimited or Anyplay, but of course those are paid subscriptions. It's tricky! Hopefully you'll be able to get to a used bookstore soon! 😀
