Craiova, my home city. It may not be the most visited by tourists, but it is clean, has a great natural park and a nice old center. Also a lot of good places for specialty coffee, craft beer and cake shops.

Yeah, in small towns/villages everything is on the main road in Romania. I would say Orsova is basically a big village (I know people will hate for saying this), but it only has 8000 people. In bigger cities everything is spread out, so really depends on the size of the town.

From Finland! Land of ice, snow and depression! We didnt knew much. Markus has visited Brasov and Bucharest in 2012 so he had some experience about the country but we didnt (or still do) knew much. A hint...people go out later in Romania than Northen Europe...dinner is 19:30-20:00 and people stay really late out. If you go mid of day on a weekday nobody is at the restaurant/bar because people are at work, plus if you want to see romanians run it just needs to rain a bit 😂. Also people use "it's raining today" as an excuse to cancel on plans, which countries with rainy climates will think WTF 😅
