Romanian accents are very diverse . Some of them sound more like the Hungarian-influenced stereotype , some sound like the dude in this video , some sound almost American or British with a slight Romanian lilt. It all depends on the region , at what point you learned English and where you learned English from , really .

Actually though Dracula is of Romanian origin , his accent is usually depicted as a stereotypical Hungarian accent due to Hungarian Bela Lugosi`s Portrayal and the fact when Bram Stoker`s Novel was published Transylvania was in Hungary and Dracula calls himself a " Szekely " ( a Romanian-born Hungarian ) or a British accent ( which is actually truer to Stoker`s Novel ) . The Hungarians sold it to The Romanians after WWI .

This sounds more like a slavic accent than romanian. As a romanian, romanian accent sounds kinda like a more robotic american accent. Cant really explain more, but my best example would be romanian professional league of legends player "Odoamne". I think his accent represents the romanian accent pretty well

it depends from wich region that person is coming,even when we speak romanian we've got different accents,and anyways,if there was one "correct" accent it would be the one that we speak in the south west of the country and it doesn't sound like that at all . -_- this one is more like the accent of someone who lives in the north,north east of the country .

I was born in Glendale and my Dad lives in Burbank so I`ve got A Wee Bit of A Valley Lilt that mostly comes out when I`m frustrated or totally stressed out ! I get A Wee Bit of An Irish Lilt at times mostly when I`m excited ! My Mom was born in Syracuse , New York and grew up in Liverpool , New York so I`ve got A Wee Bit of A New York Lilt at times , as well !

@1993MovieMan Yes, I can hear that the Romanian accent is pretty different comparing to the Russian accent. But I think every people has there own accent. By myself, I'm half Dutch and half French, and in Europe I think both peoples are known to be in the opposite sides when you're talking about knowledge of English. The Dutch have maybe the best reputation, and the french maybe the worst.
