If I am right, you are playing the 4th Romania so amaze not to see sniper recon spam with the 5 men squad. I love using them in multiplayer, the double sniper are deadly against enemy infantries. In one game, I use only 2 of the squad to hold a flag against over 6 infantries and 3-4 support guns. P.S. Use the 47mm against infantries, AT guns, and support guns. It has a 20 rpm fire rate, so it will quickly pin any soft targets.

a quick fact to add as you are playing the Vanatori de Munte division (Mountain troops) - they were the elite of the romanian military in ww2 (think of them as something like US Rangers equivalent) and they were so effective and despised by the terrified russians that had the bad luck to face them, that when the soviets invaded and forced Romania to change sides, they disbanded the Vanatori de Munte troops (also dismembered the IAR plane factory and sent it to Moscow) and they weren't allowed by the leaders in Moscow to train them again until late in the 1960s when the NATO threat become more real and the Iron Curtain nations were expected to apport troops in case of the Cold War would go hot.

@@gabiplatis9962 not so much no, while they were very nice and easy to fly with flight characteristics enjoyed by foreign pilots which tested the plane, the IARs lacked heavy armament to pen through soviet plane armor like Il-2s or heavy allied bombers attacking Ploiesti. First variants had only 4 x 7,92 Brownings, then upgraded with additional 2 x Hotchkiss 13,2 mm which were later exchanged for 2 x Mauser MG 151/20 mm which was very lacking compared to 6 to 8 x 12,7mm Brownings or 4 x 20mm guns of allied planes or 1 x 37mm + 2 x 23 mm armament of soviet planes. Also it was very difficult to land, with its extremely long nose and rear mounted cockpit, it affected pilot's visibility immensely and made landings pretty intense and dangerous, especially for novices.

If they couldn't pen the heavy armour of the Soviets or the that of the American bombers,what was the plane good at? Being light weight? Speedy? Because those issues seem rather crippling As for the mountain Huntsmen,I really want to join them after I finish college. But sadly it seems like history repeats itself as the Romanian army still lacks a lot of anti tank weaponry and good one at that

@@gabiplatis9962 The platform was comparable, if not better than the Bf-109. The IAR-80 was held back a lot by our inability to properly kit them out with engines and cannons, for which we were supposed to rely on the Germans to provide, but just like many things they promised, nothing came to fruition.

They just enabled mod for all DLC tools and with this hurdle jumped over some of the Community members are working on a Barbarossa and some on a French campaign mod, as most units are by now in the game (romania adding some more Polish units for example like the polish bombers, and the Panzer (t)35).

Are any of the dlcs worth it sherm? I've always been interested in the game but the amount of dlc constantly coming out keeps me away from the game as I dont know if I'll get the full experience buying the full game.

The must have DLC is the Back to War DLC. Mainly because you get the Allies decks and the German 21st division with the King Tigers. Others are optional, but they have some of the best decks. You can buy the historical pass to get current 2 major DLCs i.e. Vist and Black Sunday.

What you can do is buy the game, wait for Steel Division 44 to go on sale, then buy sd 44. If you own sd 44 you get some dlc content for a really cheap price if you do get it on sale.
