Joanna Zeiger is a former professional triathlete, Olympian and Ironman 70.3 World Champion. In other words, she's not only crazy fast but she's spent countless hours training and running. In this third video JZ along with her training partner Brandon discuss and demonstrate the Top five exercises for runners and triathletes who want to run faster like an Olympian.

I liked Brandon's question about being able to tell which hip was off because "crooked feels normal".

Hi Al. Thanks for your comment. I started doing these exercises as recovery from an injury. However, I have found them incredibly useful even as I have gained back my health. The exercises we have selected are very general and are useful for anyone involved with running and/or triathlon. Because they are low impact, they can be incorporated into your training everyday pre- or post- workout. I hope that help!

In my opinion it is a routine you should do daily and isn't meant to be done before running. What you want to do before you run is make sure you do good stretches. Then, do these exercises daily if you are running or not that day.

question for romanmica &/or the room(here): "how best to implement these vids/excercises into our 'normal' w.o. routine?; are we to supplement these with our current training routines, or in lieu of them, or substitute these on 'off days' or instead of triathlon training days???" &..."how much is too much?" I heard it said that Joanna injured herself & she was given these by P.T. individual for recuperation(?), thus not us too? (unless we're injured)

Stretching is best done after body is warmed up, so after run. However, given that this is more like maintenance work, u could do it any time.

Do you have to do the intro every time....this is part three right......I’ve seen one and two......less chat more instruction and you could have done it all in two uploads.
