Hello Aurelian, I go by Senator Christoph. This message may not be received by many of the Senators as my messenger was a little late to the party however you must heed my advice for the glory of the Northern Roman Empire. If you wish to make a meaningful advance on the reconquest of Rome and counter their imposter alliance with Egypt, you must get a foothold in Hispania. There are fierce tribes and hoards of Muslim expansionists, but if you are to secure Europe without interference from Africa, the key is in Spain. The Hispanic Peninsula some may know as Gibraltar is the forward operating base you will use to extend the banner of the Northern Roman Empire across the African Coast and take back what is rightfully Roman in a pincer manoeuvre from multiple angles targeting the Fatherland and birthplace of us all, Roma. I look forward to your decision.

Ave Senators and my Emperor, We have done great things, the legions that were thought to be a thing of the past now conquer Gaul in the name of the gods thought lost. There armor and weaponry is that of our ancestors though with improvements of our time. The scutum hides their body almost entirely and the spatha slays anything that comes close. Rome truly is returning the light of the Sacred Fire has been reignited. But our economy is still a shadow of its former self. Many say that it was great men and the legions that built Rome which maybe true but gold is the sinew of war. Devaluation of the currency killed the empire, so I say across the board we improve our infrastructure which will not only provide economic boons but will cement ourselves as true Romans worthy to rule our new Gallo-Roman Subjects. Trade in Londonium and our other lands should be improved. Once this is done we should turn our sights toward Iberia secure that front and then build fortifications on the Rhine as an immovable object against the millions of Germans that seek to ravage our lands. Once this is done we shall set our sights to our our mother, the Eternal City itself, Roma. I suggest converting to Caledonian as most of the territory outside of Britannia will be Chalcedonian, and what better way to inspire hope in the lost romans by making yourself out to be a new Constantine, a new Emperor to Unite the empire and let it last 10 lifetimes more.
