WOW, WOW, WOW!!!

This is great. Thank you for this video. As a Christian, I wrote a book a few years ago that I titled 'GRAFTED IN the Jewish Olive Tree' because I had noticed that the Church seemed to connect more with the idea of Replacement Theology rather than what Paul wrote about in Romans 11. (actually God essentially told me to write the book .... He gave me the chapter headings .... that's a story in itself). This video gave me pause to think about Romans 11 from the Messianic Jewish perspective. Thanks so much!

Isn't it Hebrews that Jesus says he is the vine and is Israel? There is only one gospel which leads me to believe there is not replacement theology but only one in that the only way to God is through his son Jesus. Of course we all know that Jesus is God in the flesh. I pray for the glorious day that the Jews and gentiles worship the messiah together. The Lord always keeps a remnant.

I love the practical co-operation between current-day Israel (and her concerns of all kinds) in the organization called the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, Inc. The conversations in that Fellowship are grand and wonderful; it is without doubt not only a financial arrangement. Yael has all warm regard for Christian teaching, and the group is also led by a bishop of the evangelically-minded church. Much good comes through IFCJ which ultimately through the LORD!

Great stuff. Asher’s teaching on Romans 11 speaks to me of a believer's mandate to yield humbly to God's order and design in these coming years. God’s grafting of Jew and Gentile into One-New-Man is looking more and more like the mystery of marriage. “The two shall become one flesh” appears to illustrate a larger analogy that could provide a pattern in how Jew and Gentile believers treat one another as we grow in His intentions for us. In the husband/wife analogy, if the Jew represented the masculine form of believers in Yeshua, and the Church represented the feminine form, God's order to unite the two into one spiritual being would call us into yielding to one another in such a way that opens up more of God’s kingdom to us. Israel’s calling/lead/service/the “lifting up the whole church” as Asher stated, might be part of a pattern used for Israel’s leadership in the coming years. By loving the church through the biblical example given as the husband’s (Israel) role, and the duty to his wife (the church) in submission to Israel’s leadership, I believe we’ll find that whole new creation of the Lord’s bride. “Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands. Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, because we are members of his body. "Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh." This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church. However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.” Ephesians 5:22-33 Because of Yeshua, believers now have the same spiritual DNA, so to speak. "For no one is a Jew who is merely one outwardly, nor is circumcision outward and physical. But a Jew is one inwardly, and circumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter." Romans 2:28-29 ESV. I always find it fascinating that when the Lord reveals deeper waters, a test arises in our hearts that will either show deeper humility and trust or will reveal our pride and fear of change.

Much of the confusion stems from the fact that the NT term "church" is misleading, since the underlying Greek (ἐκκλησία) in the NT was always translated as "assembly" or "congregation," etc, in the OT (LXX) when it was used to translate the Hebrew equivalent קהל This is crucial to understand as "church" creates an artificial division in the Oneness of the body of Yeshua. In truth, the covenant marriage is not between Jew and Gentile, which no longer exists as separate bodies in Yeshua, but between believers and Yeshua who become Echad, One. This is the great mystery Paul talks about. It is a spiritual oneness; flesh and blood (racial differences, DNA, genetics, etc) shall not inherit the kingdom (1Cor 15.50); you must be spiritually reborn to even see the kingdom (Jn 3.3). The husband is the Lamb, the bride is the unified body of believers who become spiritual sons of God who is spirit, not flesh. _For I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy; for I betrothed you to ONE husband, so that to Christ I might present you as a pure virgin._ (2 Co 11.2) The corporate body of believers written in the book of life are as a city of citizens of heavenly Jerusalem: _And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband._ (Rev 21.2) This is opposed to the earthly the harlot city which is described as spiritual Sodom and Egypt: Revelation 11: _8 "And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified."_ Revelation 17: _18 “The woman whom you saw is the great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.”_ Check the studies on the blog linked atop my channel to go deeper into this and the OT revelation of 666, the mark of the name bestowed in the Aaronic Benediction, the Anti-Elijah/false prophet, etc

Great view. I subscribe to several channels of Messianic Jews from Israel and what I have received from most of them has never been a question to know if we are in need of any help, (our congregation), what I have been receiving is asking for money every day . Sadly, they quickly learned the way to the (international church)!

I believe that theologically the called out from the nations is Ephraim, the “10 lost tribes,” who were driven into the nations, from one end of the earth to the other, because of disobedience and mixed their seed with all t races on the earth, and so remarkably in some strange way the called out among the nations are the remnant of the house of Israel, Ephraim, being reunited with the house of Judah (Judah, Benjamin and most of Levi). This is why Paul quotes Hosea and Isaiah 10:22-23 I believe applying them to the Gentiles-the nations. Jew and Gentile together make a restored United Kingdom of Israel as was such under King David and King Solomon, but this time we are under King Yeshua. Amazing! This is the fulfillment of Ezekiel’s two stick prophecy! Hallelujah!

That's been my understanding as well, however ,the lost tribe were not lost, but scattered James1:1 in fact they were present at sav'uot the birth of the New Testament church, and three thousand souls were added to the Church when they were baptized immersed ( Mikvah ) in the name of the messiah Yashua. Luke 2:36 Anna was from the tribe of Asher,Yohanan Ben Zechariah hacohen aka John the Baptist was from the tribe of Levi. Saul aka Apostle Paul was from the tribe of Benjamin. Ephesians 2:12 gentiles Goyim are also called Afar off being aliens from the Commonwealth of Israel, that is why my mother referred to herself as a born again Jew. And Iam to .

Truly the scattered, and also the nation's ... as in Rom. 15:7 "... Peter rose up and said unto them ... that Nations by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel and believe. And G-d which knows the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Spirit, even as unto us." ...... verse 17, "That the residue of men might seek after the L-rd, and all the Nation's, upon whom my name is called, says the L-rd, who does all these things." (Right out of Amos 9:11 in which the Tabernacle of David possesses the remnant of Edom, and of all the Nations, who are called by the name of the L-rd.) But, Asher explains it well enough.

Romans Chapter 11: In its New Covenant context... There is no Plan B of salvation outside of the New Covenant Church in this passage. Plan A is found in verses 23 and 24. In Romans 1:16 Paul said the Gospel was taken "first" to the Jews. This time period can be found in Matt. 10:5-7, and Acts 10:36-38, and Gal. 1:14-18. Many try to claim God never gave the Jews a chance to accept Christ, so there must be some Plan B of salvation before or during the Second Coming of Christ. Romans 1:16 proves they are wrong, since Paul said the Gospel went "first" to the Jews. Many ignore the fact that Peter addressed the crowd as "men of Judea", and as "men of Israel", and as "all the house of Israel" on the Day of Pentecost, when about 3,000 Israelites accepted the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. The Gentiles were not grafted in until several years later. This passage proves Paul was right about the Gospel being taken "first" to the Jews. Were all of the Israelites "partially" hardened in Romans 11, or were part hardened and another part were not hardened? The answer is found in the "remnant" of Romans 11:5. Paul reveals two different groups of Israelites in Romans 9:6-8. There is an Israel of the promise, and an Israel of the flesh. This is part of the context of Romans 11. Paul speaks about the "remnant" of Israel in Romans 9:27. This is also part of the context of Romans 11. Paul starts Romans 11 with two different groups of Israelites. In verse one Paul reveals he is still an Israelite, even after his conversion. Then Paul refers to two different groups of Israelites during the time of Elijah. There were the Baal worshippers, and there was the faithful "remnant". In verse five Paul says there is also a faithful "remnant" of Israelites during his time. This must be the Israelites who have accepted Christ, as on the Day of Pentecost. Paul uses the two olive trees as a symbol of the New Covenant Church made up of believing Israelites, and believing Gentiles grafted together into the same tree. The unbelieving Israelites have been broken off but can be grafted back in through faith in Christ in verses 23-24. Verse 26 is the problem for many modern Christians. What does the verse actually say, and how is it changed by many in the modern Church. I have heard two of our nations famous preachers say the following. "And then all Israel will be saved..." I have heard another say the following. "And all Israel will be saved..." What does God's Word, recorded by the Apostle Paul actually say? Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: The English word "so" is translated from the Greek word "houto", which is an adverb of manner, instead of an adverb of timing. Some have changed the word from "so" to "then", in order to change the meaning of the verse. How will all of the "remnant" of Israel from Romans 9:27 be saved? The answer is found in the verses that precede verse 26 and are found below. Rom 11:23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. Rom 11:24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree? Paul quoted from the OT in referring to the Deliverer coming out of Sion to pay for sin. Did this happen at Calvary, or will Jesus die again for His people in the future? Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. Verse 28 can only be understood by looking at how Paul started the passage. He started with two different groups of Israelites and he ends the passage in the same way. There are two different groups of "they" in verse 28. One group of "they" reject Christ and are the enemies of God, and another group of "they" are the election which accept Christ through hearing the Gospel and faith. Rom 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. Based on Luke 21:24b-28, the times of the Gentiles comes to fullness at the Second Coming of Christ. This agrees with what Paul said in Romans 1:16 about the Gospel going “first” to the Jews.

I wonder whether you or myriad others have ever entertained this idea...: "chosen" for what? Chosen to be blessed, rewarded, enriched, eternally the big dogs on the block regardless of what they do or do not do? Or, chosen for a purpose; viz., the conduit, the "line," the seed thru which would appear the Seed (Galatians 3:16 & 19). Well, mission accomplished. Now, all who believe (ONE new man in Christ) are chosen to participate in the fullness of redemption that will be revealed when He is revealed...; then, we shall all be like Him, for we shall see Him as He (really) is. Any glorying or boasting or depending upon one's ethnic heritage completely disregards the words of Paul. "So then from now on we recognize or defer to no one according to his flesh (stock); even though we at one time knew Jesus Christ as a Jew, yet now from this time forward we know Him thus no longer." I think you'll find my rendering is faithful to the Koine.
