This gentleman is the most perfect teacher of Christianity that I may refer. He has great answers to many false understandings that are being taught today. For example the sad idea that God predetermined all things including those who are saved and those who are lost. He also properly counters the false doctrine, “once Saved, always Saved”. I recommend his teaching to everyone.

Chris Farrell well as long as people teach that a true saved person that God saved and not man saved, can lose their salvation, you never can say he is because you can never say he didn't lose his salvation. That's sad because God does want those that are saved to know they are saved forever, not think they are saved. How many times can can you really truly get saved for reals, the saved that when you die you made it, like Paul or Peter? Once, right? Paul and Peter were both saved and never lost their salvation. So if that happened, then they never lost their salvation. Once they got saved they were always saved. They never lost Gods salvation. Now if the salvation is mans, and that man loses it, then he lost his salvation not Gods salvation. It's called Gods eternal security not man's eternal security.

How necessary this message is in today's fallen world ! It's always been fallen but in the past people knew it . Now they don't. It's all health , wealth and prosperity , seemingly as a God given right . At least in America and to some extent in Britain. We need to repent and repentance needs to be preached or else it's cheap grace, and there's no such thing. Praise God He will rescue us if we acknowledge our enormous debt of sin, for ' we have all sinned and fallen short. Kaytey

I know I am saved now it's scary what you are teaching as if we get saved by works ... I know we are sanctified in progress but being saved is fine once for all unless we " fall away" I like most of your teaching but sometimes it scares me .Beheng you quote bible reference , and tell us your point ,bto mebibxan jot find it in the chapter you say for example Romans Ch 13 that we are not saved yet. It's disturbing to me. Wish I can talk to you to explain further.

HI feel free to email via contact@davidpawson.net and we will try to answer your questions Please dont be afraid or disturbed - let me quote just three verses John 3:16 - whoever believes in him shall receive eternal life (or more correctly whoever carrys on believing) … Philippians 3:9 For Gods way of making us right with him depends on faith (or more correctly faithfulness) … Greek action words have an expected 'continuation' which is lost in translation believe.....carry on believing faith - carrying on in the faith - faithfulness ask....carry on asking etc David does not teach we are saved by works - but he does teach we are saved FOR works and to quote Jesus own words in Matthew 10:22 "You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved" …..salvation is future - for those who “stand firm to the end “……ie remaining in faith ...“will be saved” This is not something to be disturbed about - it is the hope and assurance ....... it does not say "may be" .....it said "WILL BE " but...... it is conditional upon remaining faithful...

Hi if you let me know the timing in this video where David makes that reference I will try to comment further but let me say David does not teach you are saved BY works but more you are saved FOR works some bible references you may wish to consider “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9) James 2:24-26 You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone. In the same way was not Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodgings to the spies and sent them off in a different direction. As the body without spirit is dead so faith without works is dead and back to Ephesians 2:10 - for we are Gods handiwork - created in Jesus Christ to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do We are not saved BY works, we are saved by Gods Grace alone - but we are saved FOR works - to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do ......but it requires faith or more accurately translated "faithfulness"

He says a lot of good things but one thing confused me. He says those who never heard of Jesus will be judged by their understanding of right and wrong. And then based on second Corinthians chapter 5 he said that believers will be judged based on a work system the good we did versus the bad we did. So with these two views why exactly did Jesus die? If I'm going to be judged by how well I did anyway and why did Jesus have to die?

@@James-ms2mx Let me offer some explanation here Ephesians 2 8-9 - We are saved by Grace through faith - not by works so that no one can boast ...........- Jesus paid the price for our sins once and for all, as nothing we can do would be good enough Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God However Ephesians 2 10 continues - We are Gods handy work created in Jesus Christ to do good works, which God prepared advance for us to do .........- we are expected to do good works James 2:20 faith without deeds is useless ......and .....26 .........Faith without works is dead So we are saved by Gods Grace - but Jesus said in John 14 - If you love me obey my commandments Jesus paid the price - that we may be saved ....... there is nothing we can do to earn salvation however we have a part to play ........ we are expected be the light of this world and to obey His commandments Hebrews10:26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the Truth no sacrifice for sin is left no-one will be spared Gods Judgement - and we as believers will be judged by what we do and if we carry on deliberately sinning .........not even Gods Grace can save us Please read Romans 1 - 18 onwards .... - Although they know Gods righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death , they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them Rom 2:7 To those who by persistence in doing good, seek honour and immortality he will give eternal life but for those who are self seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil,,,,,,,,,,,

@@DavidPawsonMinistry Thank you for your time and explanation. I believe what you say here. Sometimes the idea of deliberate sin is intimidating because I think all of my sins are deliberate. I am starting to settle on the view that succumbing to impulses is one thing but being perfectly content in your sin is quite another thing. I appreciate your insights here. If you get the time, could you comment on David's view of those who have never heard of the Gospel being judged by the light available to them? Is David saying that they will be saved or lost based on how they lived according to their conscience or that they are all lost without Christ and the judgement against them will be either severe or light depending on their lives lived?

@@James-ms2mx hi feel free to contact us directly contact@davidpawson.net Romans is a good Book of the Bible which addresses your question. We are all answerable for our own salvation we are not responsible for how GOD deals with others - we are responsible to share the good news that Jesus came that we may be saved The Gospels is clear - God so loved the World that he Gave his Only Son that those who believe …. the correct translation is continuous tense - those who carry on believing ….. Those who have not heard the Gospel includes everyone in the Old Testament Those who lived in Old Testament lived under the Law which are Gods Commandments - they have no excuses and it was clear what was right and what was wrong, for Jews there were sacrifices and days of atonement We have all committed sin - and there is no excuse and “ no hiding “ from God - he sees everything - the Bible is clear regarding deliberate sin - there is no sacrifice left But God is just - he will one day punish all sin, God is merciful - meaning he will show mercy on those ( including me) who do not deserve mercy God is righteous- he will do what is right - but his Word is clear - repent , turn away from sinful ways, obey his commandments and the sacrifice of Jesus will cover your sins You have received the knowledge of the truth of Jesus That is why it’s is important we share the God news about Jesus to everyone so they also can have an assurance of salvation. For those who genuinely have never heard about Jesus and that includes babies - we trust in God who is Righteous - but with a warning he is also just - he will not tolerate deliberate sin I personally leave the question of “what about those who have not heard about Jesus” to God I focus on my own actions and situation and telling as many as I can about Jesus as an when the opportunity arises

The Lord is very patient with is ...why does HE not wipe out all the bad people in this world now, why wait ?.. because that may just include you and I, as all of us have sinned and fallen short of the kingdom of God. 1:25:17 Matthew 5:17-20… it was not abolished. Matthew 5:17-20 (CJB): Don’t think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete. 18 Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud or a stroke will pass from the Torah-not until everything that must happen has happened. 19 So whoever disobeys the least of these mitzvot and teaches others to do so will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever obeys them and so teaches will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. 20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness is far greater than that of the Torah-teachers and P’rushim, you will certainly not enter the Kingdom of Heaven!

I love David however I feel like his comments about gay marriage sweeping the globe are unfounded. Singapore is a clever nation, and Australia is taking a stand in the West. we won't go gently into That goodnight - no matter how disappointed you are in the UK we have Democratic countries which will not kowtow to a minority. it is easy to begin to assume that the end of days is here and that everything is getting worse however the Holy Spirit is a real person and He listens when we cry out to Him in repentance and our Future and a Hope is not only the end of the race. do not give up, stand with other believers and against the powers and principalities!

I was happy to watch this until he implied Jesus was righteous, good and God... Even in the flesh Jesus was totally God totally man, fully righteous, and good. Jesus was looking at the man asking why do you call Me good, to see if he accepted Jesus as Messiah,God in the flesh. The man didn't.

DAVID YOU MAY HAVE HAD DESIRES FOR SAME SEX BUT SPEAK 4 YOURSELF IM NEVER HAD A DESIRE LIKE THAT IN MY LIFE....

I can assure you David never did have any desires for the same sex so please quote exactly what David says and not add your own interpretation David believes we all have the potential within us, I do not know whether he is right or wrong but I respect his views Something that may not be popular with everyone who listens to this teaching but sexual orientation and preference has been proven is not genetic - there are male genes and there are female genes - and then there are the desires of the heart.

I don’t have a smidgen of attraction to the same sex. Not at all. I love David but don’t agree with homosexuality being in everyone

Because it is just as brother David day: “only by God’s Grace we are not given to these temptations”. If we get courage to ask God to show as how sinful truly are we would quickly discover that this is true. Bless you Sister Dana. 🌿

It would seem that President Trump is not addicted to business , since he is now devoting himself to America without being paid for it. He has enough money, so that he can leave off searching for money. He's trusting his business to others and concentrating on God's work. Rescuing America from ruin and it's people in a Godly way is just as much a Godly work as being a pastor or a missionary. I'm not saying he's perfect , but who among us is ? Kaytey

This is why I can't be a Christian: I believe that people are fundamentally good, and you can't be a Christian if you believe that. It's unlikely that someone like Pawson would say something he didn't check and double-check.

gnostie, People r not good. Our hearts are wicked. Sure we may do good deeds, be kind, help others, but given the right circumstance wickedness creeps in...whether by selfishness, greed, jealousy, , boastfulness, hatred, adultery, and then the evil thoughts that we wouldn't dare tell another soul, etc etc

gnostie , God bless you for listening through this teaching. And you do well in believing that people are fundamentally good, but wait till you meet the Master Jesus, only then will you know how a good person really is. Jesus Said “make a tree good and its fruits will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruits will be bad” (Matthew 12:33). We are all like a bad tree, have fallen and has a bad nature, our fruits(good deeds/character) only seems good in the human perspective but to God our goodness/righteousness it’s like a filthy rag says the prophet Isaiah. (Isaiah 64:6). It takes a truly good person to know what really bad is as well as good. Men looks on the outside but God sees on the inside. Only God knows the heart of man, and that is where all the evil and deception springs from. Doubting God’s Word is calling God a liar, it is written if we say we have not sinned we make God to be a liar and His Word is not in us(1 John 1:8). Be humble, Repent and come to the Cross even with a childlike faith Without any justification and you will receive forgiveness of your sins and welcomed into Gods Kingdom. Shalom.

I think David Pawson's commentary on this passage of Romans would have been greatly improved if he considered the possibility that the righteous gentiles mentioned in Romans 2 were Christians. Otherwise, people can be righteous doers of the law who are justified without the gospel. Having believed the gospel does not equate to having received the law as the law is not made for the righteous man. Having a circumcised heart comes through the faith of the gospel and not by the hearing and study of laws. St. Paul tried to obey the commandment against covetousness, but this resulted in covetous thoughts.
