Yes, most bars in the US will have a TV. Mostly for sports but also episodes of whatever is very trending on TV now. Higher class bars won't always have them but many do too. Also many restaurants have TVs. McDonalds, Burger King etc. TVs are everywhere here.

Agreed, sports or news is always on. It would be weird in America for a bar to not have a TV. I would say though in a nice place like this, like a winery, there might not be a tv

In general for me a bar just never has a tv. We have breweries and pubs and the like which habe tvs for watching sports. However that’s not called a bar.

Yeah, apparently😂 haven’t thought about it that way. But you’re right, some NPCs look like the stereotypical caricature of a cowboy. Might aswell build a western saloon.

Happy you like it. The house from Practical Magic has been requested quite a lot. It's definitely already on my list. However my list is long and I tend to overthink when rebuilding stuff from movies/TV beause I am such a perfectionist when it comes to that.

As an American I am not sure we should be allowed to be the authority on anything! 🤣😂 I like your reasoning red=red wine!... I personally always go for those fancier ones with the writing on them but their shape makes it kind of weird to have more than one side by side which is a shame, we need more awnings or whatever they are called in game! Here at least in NY (not just the city!) we have wineries and wine bars which are very different things. A wine bar is usually more upscale - basically a fancy bar maybe with a piano player - very limited food menus and no TVs for sure! The wineries are much more 'down home' but some can be more modern & upscale usually on a farm with a wine bar(s) for tastings, live music outside on a deck or in field and some will do BBQs or have food vendors and they will also host weddings. We do tend to have TVs everywhere, very pro brain rot in the states! Love the trees and ruins! Also, I am looking to be adopted outside of the US if anyone wants me and some cats LOL

Hahaha. That was a joy to read. I live in a very small Apartment with a husband and dog so sadly we don’t have space for you and your cat. I understand that Maxis is an American company and mostly Americans work on this game. They do their best(sometimes) to keep the game as cultural free as possible, however sometimes some Americanism creep in. Which weird me and others out a bit. Like the TV restriction for a bar. We have breweries/pubs with tvs here. However when I hear the wird bar I think of a fancy place with cocktails etc. definitely no tv!!

You build is beautiful!!! I prefer it the way your renovated it. We do have TV's bars here ( America) it is weird. I do understand having them in sports bars. Because they are watching the game. However in other bars is weird.

Yeah. Sports bars I totally get it! But when someone says to me they went to a bar I imagine a bar with fancy cocktails etc. first and those just don’t habe tvs

Hey, Fry! I love that you're going through and redoing your builds. I also love how you incorporated old with new. Where I live, which has become extremely gentrified, thankfully they're doing that with our city. We do have a LOT of bars with tvs, mostly sports bars. We do have some fancy bars with no tvs as well. I'm excited to see what you think of next! I hope you have a glorious day.

Very happy you like the renos. The tv in a sports bar makes sense of course. However when I hear the wird bar that’s not the bar I would think of but rather a fancy bar with cocktails etc. I simply hate the lot restrictions a lot of times because of weird objects like this. A tv in a bar. A big ass ugly jungle gym is a mist have in a park?? It would be better if they keep as free as possible to support multiple types of lots.

@Simproved I agree! It's challenging when you want to do a certain type of lot to deal with those restrictions. I usually throw everything into a basement, but I'm also not putting a lot of builds onto the gallery. Maaayyyybbbeee you could ask one of the devs to implement into the game?

The renovation came out really nice and I don't see any issue with the red/white awnings. It doesn't look too barber shop to me. 😊
