Hi, thanks for all your reviews! How would you compare Agent Pro and Indoor Survival in terms of ollie power, buttering and carving?
@thegoodridesnow11 ай бұрын
Agent Pro is the best buttering. Ollie power is close but I think it goes to Indoor Survival. Carving is close too but I'd give it to the Agent Pro. Both are great boards and hard to go wrong with either. Go Agent Pro if you see more soft uneven snow though.

Would you consider the rome agent for an intermediate rider who spends all their time on resort groomers? I dont wanna buy a board thats not forgiving enough.
@thegoodridesnow7 ай бұрын
I think you might be happier if you go with something that is more forgiving. Look to something with more early rise. If you want real advice hit me here to give me the info I need to help you much better. shop.thegoodride.com/merchandise/gear-advice/

Love my agent 157 on the jumps/resort, just a true twin guy. Need something a little smaller for the days I don’t leave the park/early season when rails is all there is. Very in between Agent pro 154 and Artifact pro 153. Any thoughts?
@thegoodridesnow10 ай бұрын
Not sure because I don't know your specs or how you ride the park and a lot of other factors. I would say if you love the Agent 157 and just want something smaller go 154 as long as your boots aren't hanging way over. Go Artifact Pro if you want something softer and jib alot.
@billblow573910 ай бұрын
@@thegoodridesnow I spend a lot more of my time on the larger features especially jump lines but have neglected my rail progression and really looking to get on something a little smaller with rails in mind, will definitely see it’s way around the whole park though. Just want to make sure I’m getting the right thing for that and not just buying another agent cause I’m familiar with it. Appreciate your time brotha

Yeah tough call. It's definitely a jumps (agent pro) vs. jibs (artifact pro) debate you have to have with yourself on this next board. There is definite overlap with both and both have lots of camber/pop. I'd personally go Artifact Pro since you have the Agent already. Then buy the Agent Pro when your Agent is played out.

Honestly i feel your show is better and easier to consume with the music. You are doing snowboard reviews. Unless you’re going to talk about fabrication processes or snowboard technique like tricks and steps where the narrator needs complete focus, giving reviews with no music makes the video harder to consume. That’s my take. I know others would see it different. If i had to compare-i watch different reviewers, i honestly feel that the GoodRide is better than AngrySnowBoarder. Angey is repetitive and predictable in his video format, but I take his reviews and opinions with a grain of salt because his comparisons have a tendency to make no sense, his opinion are sometimes off, and he’s useless in the chat. You never see Angry snowboard on a slope, so how can you validate his reviews and points. I am still dumbfounded that in his 2024 Jones Project X video, he compared it to the Capita Mega Deth, and I was like why. Why wasn’t the 2024 Project X compared to the Nidecker Megalite or any other directional powder-board with fiberglass. It’s like Angry came to the conclusion that they are both light in weight, so they are the same. I would say that the Tribute Lounge is better than the GoodRide, but only in the area where they go in depth into products. Like for example, the reason why Jones has a 6000 and 9000 Freecarver series 2024 models is because the sidecut radius is above 6.0 m or 9.0m. So this affects the way a board carves. What’s not mentioned by others is when the size of the snowboard goes up, the sidecut radius goes up. So for a 6000 series, a 150 has a sidecut radius of 6.2m. A 154 has a sidecut radius is 6.5m. Sidecut radius for a 164 9000 Freecarver board is 9.6m. So as the size gets larger, the sidecut radius goes up almost proportional to the size. It’s these little details that make the Tribute Lounge unique and informative. They point it out when others overlook it.

Thanks for taking the time to give me this constructive feedback. Good to know about the music. I have to play around with it more to find the right volume and music. There aren't many good royalty free songs out there. I'll for sure consider doing more tech talk and yeah...I should have broken down the sidecut differences between the Freecarvers more. Cheers!

Fam you always mispronounce the Stale board line. It’s pronounced the same way you’d say “ stale potato chips”. Not “stal aye” like you’re saying now.
@thegoodridesnow11 ай бұрын
It is made for and named after Ståle Sandbech and I am not mispronouncing it.
