Love the video and particularly Rome FCO Airport! However, I do find it unfortunate that low-cost carriers are becoming ubiquitous at major European airports, including Fiumicino. I remember flying Alitalia's A300 in 1993 from Dubai to Rome FCO with a one-hour fuel stopover in Kuwait. Planes smelled like planes and sounded like them. I had 3-4 hour layovers in Rome ( I was a 12-year-old ) and spotting planes from the gates was like a kid at a candy store. The 747's ( Varig, Air India, United),; L-1011 ( Delta, Air Lanka); (DC-10 Air Ghana) and let's not forget Alitalia's vintage fleet of 747s. and MD 11'S I hopped on to the United States. Those were the days!

Last year we were supposed to be on a trenitalia night jet but an avalanche hit in Austria and we went back to Rome again and had to catch a flight to Frankfurt via Milan. It was a stressful day for us

Au-delà de la fatigue, c'est surtout l'énorme perte de temps Je n'habite pas en Italie, donc je dois profiter au maximum de l'occasion d'y être pour le spotting 3 heures de spotting, c'est environ une trentaine d'avions ratés
