I've always been put off travelling to countries like Italy because of the worry if they have any decent halal places in the capital as I'm very picky with food especially when you have lil kids but Alhamduliliah Halal Food Travel Guy has sorted that issue out for me, now I know the best places to go to get my halal fix and not to forget some amazing desserts. Hi ! I went to MOLINO on August 22, 2023 to try their foods. When I asked the server whether the foods are halal , something I always do before checking the menu, he clarified that "honestly" nothing is halal here. However, he said he'll be more than happy to tell me what the ingredients are. I had to head out and good that I found some halal restaurants in Termini area, which was close to Molino !

Did you manage to try any Roman pinsa? It's pizza made with corn flour dough, so that it is ultra light, crispy and digestible and popular at lunchtime for those very reasons.

I think I've been to couple of those places in the video - I am pretty sure of it. Ali, have you visited the Rome National Mosque? It is a few miles North of Central Rome but worth visiting. Rome is my favourite European city that I have been to although I also loved Seville, Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon, Florence, and Athens too

Ali - you had me at Iskender - though lamb is my fave. Do you eat lamb? Really enjoying this Rome trip. Carbonara is typical Rome dish, cooked without cream. Are there any Halal alternatives? Turkey like bacon is world-wide now, so surely some chef must have got their head round it and produced the goods. Have you any Turkey vlogs in your vlog portfolio? I could live on aubergines out there, there are so many recipes they do wonderous things with them. Pilaf, bread, lamb & chicken - I have never had a bad meal. Very friendly people eager to help if you need. The Italian vlogs took me by surprise - all for the good. My mobility isn't very up to much, so my tv is kind of my best friend - your vlogs take me to places familiar, places I really liked. I lived in Manchester & have tried food from all around includinh Oldham & Rochdale, can't remember any names as family or friends ordered the food. I love it when you visit Bradford. The people are like no other, friendly, communicative, non judgmental & funny. Food is outstanding. Would be good in the future add Preston, Blackburn, Burnley - Lancashire has a massive halal population. Sort of coming to the end of 2021 - I predict a good 2022 for you. 👍

Assalaamu’alaykum, JazakAllah for this video. I went Italy to visit family in Bologna and they took me Rome and even they had no idea about any halal places and we stuck with vegetarian. They’re Italian and speak Italian fluently and still didn’t know lol... Can i ask if these places are close to the tourist sites?? Also, if you don’t mind, which hotel did you stay at and do you recommend it? JazakAllah again.

I'm so frustrated why is there no halal restaurant that sells local food. its always an indian restaurant or arab restaurant selling the same shawarma kebab etc. People visit italy to eat italian food. Pasta lasagna polento risotta. doesn't matter which european country you go to. Even same in uk, hard to find a halal restaurant that sells japanese or chinese or dare i say british food (like yorkshire pudding, sausage roll etc). Very very hard for muslims to experience tasting local food. other than same old shawarma and peri peri chicken.
