"Smoke the Sky"& "Til Death do us part" was a level that Vince couldn't handle. Those songs are insane.

I don't know much about Corabi, but I have to say that he's a really good interviewee. He understands that when you're asked a question you're supposed to elaborate. Nothing is more annoying than watching an interview subject give only "yes" and "no" answers.

What a gentleman. He did this entire interview without trying to speak like a drunkin school boy sounding all tough with curse words every other word. I get so tired of hearing rock musicians sound like total fools, using curse words to appear tough or cool. It makes them look immature, This guy acted like a man, not a little boy.

I like to burn the Motley album on a blank cd and don't write on it who it is. Then I hand it out to people looking for some "new" music. Sometimes they know who it is, but most of the time they are way surprised when they here its Corabi Crue. Either way they always love it. Most people just never gave this great album a chance. I fell for this album hook, line and sinker. Then got the rug pulled out from under me when Sixx, Lee, and Mars sold out and screwed everyone who believed in this band. I hope all three of them wake up every day and know they let the best man walk.

A majority of people are going to disagree with me but John Corabi's debut album with Motley Crüe is the Crue's best album ever.
@TheRandog10010 жыл бұрын
RayJayRob For the time "Live Wire" and "Shout" were the best. I agree that this one ranks right up on the top. Corabi screaming his vocals about real life events is the main reason for the high album praise instead of Vince's pathetic lyrics always about tattoos and women. I could listed to "Death do us part" every day, and "Misunderstood"...wow.
@Celio198919 жыл бұрын
Randy Randog Nikki Sixx wrote 99 percent of those pathetic lyrics that came out of Vince's mouth. Give credit where credit is due man.
@FreeMTrider9 жыл бұрын
Celio19891 Yes....but Vince has always liked the rah rah party poseur scene. He didn't want to sing about the real stuff anymore or at make music similar to Shout at the Devil. Listen to his solo stuff. It's the same as all the poseur girls, girls, girls music.
@velkelovce9 жыл бұрын
Randy Randog You looking at it from a wrong angle "dude".. That band wasn't Mötley Crüe but in name only. The album was good, and Corabi is a good singer too but that is not the point. Mötley is four specific character, special characters too. You can not take one out and think that is the same band. I loved Randy to bits, bless him, I'm a drummer, liked his chops and charisma but he wasn't Mötley either. The Crüe is this four degenerate individual called Nikki, Vince, Mick, Tommy. That is Mötley Crüe. I can tell you one more thing.. I believe if they had stuck to Corabi they would be nowhere now. As I said it before its nothing to do with the person Corabi as a singer songwriter and guitar player. He fucked up when he did not joined Velvet Revolver....That was his real shot at real fame..apart from Scream of course..
@mcbigham11 жыл бұрын
My favorite musician ever!!! Best rock singer ever, I really don't understand how you sing so good and smoke. I am not knocking anything just curious. Your voice has always been great but has really actually got better over the years. I got the new CD last week and and love it... The Motley CD was the best Motley CD if only the name of the band would have been changed...It is by far the best music from Motley just not what the fans expected in 1994.

Have seen John Corabi at the Firehouse BBQ & Blues twice. What a great guy and great entertainer. Wish you the best John! .....Motley can have Vince, who gets to winded to sing a complete song.....that is when he can remember the lyrics.....SAD....that Vince has to point the mic towards the audience these days to have them sing the lyrics for him. I hope to see ya around this area again.

First saw John at a nightclub called Heaven, in Pennsaukan NJ. His band was called Fragile. They did Zep and Yes tunes. Maybe 78, 79. blown away by John and his bandmates. Wondered what happened to them. Fast foreward to 1994. John blew me away on the national seen with Motley Crue, with the least selling best album that band ever made.

If the Crue stuck with Corabi, they would be more than a party rock band today, dont get me wrong, the Crue with Vince has some great songs, but they would of been so much more with Corabi

The interviewer doe's a great job asking the questions to get him to open up. I was a big early Crue fan but hadn't listened to them in years and I certainly wasn't about to support them after they killed his former band The Scream, who were the best new band on the scene with fantastic musicians, so as of yet I have no opinion of Vince//Crue vs Corabi/Crue, but I do have more respect for John after this interview.
@assqueef10010 жыл бұрын
He is so creative knows what he's talking about. Vince would just be talking about getting laid and getting fucked up. John is a musician vocally and instrumental. Vince not so much. Good luck to you John you deserve it.

Difference is, Kiss always cared only about the money. Motley was a group of hooligans out to pillage the strip... Until Theater of pain. From that point on, they became the 80s version of Kiss.

the ONLY song with Neil that came close to their 1994 cd with crabby is primal scream. yeah...they fucked up letting the corporate rule rob them of their true nature. And i don't blame vince for the decision. hell, i don't even pin that on tommy, nikki, & mick. it's their ride, their choices, their deal. it's just a shame that they chose this return to mediocre regurgitated material rather than pursue the darker, heavier side of their tru nature. oh well, kiss did the same shit...greed sucks!
@halford187710 жыл бұрын
Corabi ha una voce molto più potente di Vince Neil,dovevano tenerselo stretto,anche perchè in live Vince fa abbastanza cagare .....(e Generetion Swine è di John,l'ha composto lui,i Crue l'han cacciato al momento opportuno....)
