I love vlogmas 😊 I have a some coffee tips if you're interested: The coffee should be tampered with approx. 15 kg of force, so lay the porta filter on the counter and then temper it. If you're making hot coffee (not iced) the put the milk in that chrome pot and turn it a little sideways so that the milk starts turning like a whirlpool. Also don't put too many coffee beans in the machine because they start to lose flavour after a while. The amount optimal amount should be consumed within 2 days. Also as a good rule of thumb an espresso with 18 grams of coffee grounds should produce 50ml of liquid when the machine runs for 25 seconds. Sorry it's all in the metric system 😄

Use the round board for your charcuterie board and lay the cheese and meats on it looks like a Christmas wreath. Rosemary sprigs will give you the greenery look you need.

Little tip, since u have a garage, get an extra refrigerator for parties and holidays. Makes it so much easier to store food and drinks and left overs. I have an extra fridge in my pantry in my sun room and I love it for extra storage.

Im NEVER this early. It's 2am here in the UK, but it's christmas, and i seriously become addicted to your vlogmas videos every year. You are without a doubt my favourite 'influencer' i studied art at school, and watching your content inspires my creative mind and warms my soul. Plus, i adore yours and Romeo's chemistry, and don't get me started on how freakin adorable Kingsley is. She definitely has serious main character energy for sure. Store your fruits in a Mason jar with a lid...they STAY fresher longer! My grapes last 3 weeks without getting mushy I've never seen a potato masher like that 👀 interesting

@@user00616- why would it taste like garlic? Dried garlic is usually not refrigerated and if it needs refrigate, suched as peeled it would come in some kind is sealed bag. Besides they will be using that fruit very soon so it should be fine.

I have the same espresso machine and I absolutely love it but I highly recommend getting these 3 accessories: a dosing funnel with grinding trigger for the portafilter, a spring loaded tamper, and a milk thermometer! They’re game changers and perfect stocking stuffers. Enjoy!!

You did great! It usually takes a couple tries to get the tamp right for the pressure! Most coffee shops give you double shots with your latte, so getting a lighter brew sometimes helps if it’s too strong

I use my Breville Barista Express machine every morning. I've had my machine for 7 years and I love it! It takes some tweaking with the setting to get it just the way you want it. There is a grind setting and a couple other setting to play around with. use the 2 shot basket and you can't go wrong.

I had planned to cook myself a NY strip steak for dinner (on my own for the holidays) on Christmas Eve, but changed my mind and picked up a roast at the store for...Mississippi Pot Roast!!!! How funny! I tossed the steak in the freezer for New Year's Eve. I'm not sure which I'm looking forward to the most - the original meal or the great sandwiches over the next couple of days! Oh and it can be a huge trial and error type of process to get good shots. You have to make sure the grounds, water, temperature etc. are all at the perfect setting to get the perfect body, crema and heart of the shot perfect… or it ends up tasting bitter and gross. It’s definitely worth it in the end though! Too bad those Starbucks machines are like 25k lol! They do all the work for you! 😂
