You should get your mom to paint a winter picture for your entryway. I change all my art for the different seasons. Some are pictures I took with my camera and had them made larger. Fun! Your house is looking very beautiful, and Kinsley makes me laugh when you get a package. Love how he "dances" on his feet!

I love that you always show us the process of decorating and you leave in the "umm no that doesn't look like I imagined" moments. It's easy to think that some people are just 'perfect' at decorating without any thought. and easy to forget that it's okay to try something and change your mind

If you're nervous about the tinsel with pets then I'd recommend metal icicle ornaments, they give a very similar look to tinsel, we scatter them throughout the tree after putting on the rest of the ornaments, gives the cohesive sparkle of tinsel without the risk to our fur babies ❤️ I've seen them locally and on Etsy advertised as Victorian Tinsel Ornaments, but they are metal and pet safe!

Yes! This is what I did after I found tinsel hanging out of my cat’s butthole. Love the metal tinsel. Easier to put on, too, since it’s straight and metal with little hooks. Though, I have little kids now and they have too much stabbing potential so we’re leaving them off for a few years. 😅

Two suggestions for the future. Fun Tack will hold your battery powered candles straight in the candleholder. When using fresh greenery where the stems are thin, pound the end and insert in a floral tube filled with water. This should help keep them fresh.

Another taper trick - wrap the end in tin foil (out of sight) so help fill the gap causing them to lean

Someone has probably already said this but wrap the bottom of the candles with foil and they’ll stay in the candle holder. That’s what my grandmother used to do.

In the entryway, two tall skinny trees lit up, behind the skinny windows, on both sides would be so pretty!!! That way it would light up the space and give it some symmetry. The little sled with the reindeer is precious.

I store my left over paint in glass canning jars w/ airtight lids, mark them, and keep in bottom cabinet in laundry room, if we had earthquake, they are already on bottom level. Unopened gallons fit too. Thanks for another great video.

I’ve had that exact brass reindeer and sleigh for about 35 years now and it’s still one of my most favorite decorations. I fill it with tiny glass balls and hang tiny pine wreaths on the two front hooks next to the reindeer head. Love it!

I keep seeing the naked oven back wall and I don't know if it's not finish yet, but I'll recommend you to tile it all the way to the bottom. Behind the oven is one of the greasiest places and it's easier to maintain with a sleek surface. It's not necessary to continue with the grey tile if it's expensive since it's not gonna be seen but at least a basic cheap tile to get it cleaner.

Looks great! The trees on your hallway table are wire so you can straighten the top of the tree that looks curved. Unless that’s the look you were going for of course lol.

With my vintage candle holders I will use aluminum foil inside the holder to create a snug fit if the tapper candle is to small. You can mold it when you set the candle inside and trim edges as needed. It works really well and can be hidden so you can not see it. Also flame retardant!

Hello from Canada! FYI if your paint freezes it will essentially be destroyed. It will separate into its component liquids and no matter how much you shake or stir it back together it will not have the coverage you paid for when you bought it. My cousin's wife let their paint stay outside, it froze and they had to replace it all, and yes it was Benjamin Moore paint.
