To this day his Ron Chatman Experience Deck is still my favorite. Loved that artwork so much.

I just read this to Ron & he got all embarrassed! We are 50 years old, & that board & video were a lifetime ago....

@@RaymondNutzhornLet him know I just had to buy a vinyl wrap with those graphics just to put them on a modern board and if he had an online shop selling modern decks with that graphic he would have my $70. Some of us still rep classics

Wow, talk about a simpler time. Truly a golden age. Listen to that deck pop and wheels roll. Ron was/is a great skater.

I like that there isn't a lot of music just the wheels on the asphalt.I remember buying this when it first came out and of course I wanted to watch it right away but my old man was like shut this shit off

When I was a kid in the 90’s I use to skate with Ron with his huge Afro and shades and his camera

This is one of the best parts of all time.

Here are a couple of things to consider. 1.) Ron was probably given about 10-12 days to make a full part. 2.) Boards back then were around 9 1/2" and nearly twice as heavy as what you ride today. 3.) Rocco could not have given less of a f**k back then. Ron Chatman rips. Mullen is a wizard and everyone knows it but nearly his whole part was flatland. Up until Rubbish heap, no one had seen Rodney skate "Street" and he wouldn't start his ledge/manny trickery till later

I wish more parts didn’t have the music. I like to just hear the ambiance of it all.

Best music ever my honest opinion. Sandpaper-y asphalt

Another part that proves new school was well underway in 89. Klein had more influential tricks, like 360 kick flips (as they use to be called) on banks, fakie ollie switch grind, and the first backside smith on a handrail, but obviously Chapman was as talented in his own way.

you'd say the same thing about the top skaters in the 1960's just doing kickturns, wouldn't ya? Real genius there. This and Jeremy Klein's in this video were the first new school street parts.
