if you listened for a long time you will notice opie steals other peoples storys and will retell them as his own he did this when sam said he was a candy kid and sold candy in school then a year or 2 later opie starts telling a story about how he was a candy kid toooo! but i guess he forgot the 1st time sam brought it up
