Have you listened to the other uploads? Check out Earl Doesn't Want To Work, The Fainting Goat, and Faildozer. It's insane how pathological the lies are, he's lying directly to people that 100% know he's lying and he can't admit he's lying about the fainting.

@@brandendierker5873 The more I listen, the more I agree with you, some of them you can definitely tell he's acting. But I think he actually sucks at photography, and that was a huge expensive bit if that entire thing was all acting. I think they're are still multiple times he gets caught in lies and blew up, he did it at o&a FM before he was even on Ron and Fez and satellite, so I don't think it's all a bit. He can easily get caught in lies and riled up. Same for Fez, you can tell in retrospect some things were set up, but the constant crying and all that was real.

What seems to have gotten lost is that if Ron wanted Bronx Johnny or Pitzy on staff, all he had to do was ask. What was XM/Free Fm going to say, no the request has to come from your incompetent producer?

I definitely understand what you're driving at but I think it's more to do with how these dumb corporate radio facilities operate. Ron was a "talent" and Earl was (inexplicably) "executive producer", so for all intents and purposes it was on Earl to get these guys either hired or provide them with good references.

The talent can't hire or fire people directly. At most, they can make suggestions in meetings. Sucks because they really wanted Dave to stay on, but Opie had more pull in the meetings with management than they did. Dave has a drunk video out there where he touches the subject.

Just started listening to Ron and fez. Is there an era of the show where fez isn’t crazy?

There was the Billy Staples and Al Dukes era around 2000 or so, and that’s the start of modern Ron and Fez. They were on at night. Then around 2003 they moved to a terrestrial station in New York during the afternoon. Eventually (around 2004-2005) they moved to satellite and that’s the era this clip is from. He was great during this whole time. Around this time fez got weirder, and more angry at any joke. He was an ass to everyone except Ron and had a paranoid hatred of Dave because Ron liked him. He start to become a lot more politically sensitive. He had heart attacks and stents put in his heart which kind made him worse to deal with because he got depressed. He was still really good but the shine was wearing off. 2010-2012 he started a drastic decline where he wouldn’t talk during the show he cried on air, he was always mad and bitching about everything and saying how much he hated the listeners and show. Ron made it clear he was frustrated between love of his best friend, and his mental illness. This was full blown crazy era, it got worse until he retired in 2015. An amazing adventure.
