His parents must have done a number on him when he was a kid. Every time Earl gets accused of something, he sputters & spins, fumbling for the first lame-ass reason he can think of (sometimes R&F lead him on by dangling excuses in front of him). If he'd just own up to it, he'd be an okay employee. Instead, he gets to fail his way upward because his incompetence was entertaining.
