After all this time, I now believe that Ron feeding Fez's paranoia for all those years, as he does here, only made Fez get worse and worse. He didn't just tolerate fez's craziness, he often encouraged and stoked it. What a great friend.

Going somewhere he was miserable and anxious to talk publicly about how private and anxious he was made him get worse and worse. No matter what Fez felt Ron wasn't his doctor and the show wasn't his therapy. Listen to the shows where Ron gets seriously mad, calming Fez down never worked, getting him to stop bringing up his anxieties was impossible, and he never really engaged with the show until his craziness was center stage. Other than ending the show there was nothing Ron could have done.

And as for making a funny show, do you really think Ron gives a crap abut that? When Fez finally left he could have hired a real co-host and revamped the show but instead he engaged in blatant nepotism and went on auto-pilot, letting his talentless daughter ruin his comedic legacy while he sits back on his fat ass collecting checks and waiting to die. Ron doesn't care about entertaining anyone, he just wants to sit around shooting the shit and get paid for it regardless of what kind of content he puts out there. Fez gave him the best material of his career and he was too much of a dumb rube to appreciate it.
