Maybe this has already been said but I think Fez was so deeply in love with Shelby that he lashed out is such a deranged way that guarantees he would never find a partner who would genuinely like him for him. As low as his self esteem was he was still an entitled , self absorbed and selfish jerk who stopped deserving his title or position long before his forced retirement. He knew that Ron was loyal and codependent and took full advantage of it. Then he has the nerve to embarrass Ron even more by crying and begging for his job on air. By this time people are feeling sorry and would have blamed Ron for kicking him when he was down . He wished death and destruction on people and tried to push people away from Ron and when he couldn’t push them away he bullied the shit out of them and played victim. He proved that he was actually a bad person who didn’t deserve empathy or sympathy during this Time.

I think you meant to say Fez was deeply in love with Ron. Fez just saw Shelby as another threat to coming in-between him and Ron. He has a long history of breaking down after a producer gets too much air-time consistently, considering Fez started out as a producer who replaced Ron's Co-host.

God knows. Tbh - I don't think Fez had any sexual/intimate motivations with anyone. The closest thing was with him and Ron. But Fez went +50 years without having a single sexual, intimate moment with another person. I am pretty sure that makes a person asexual. The closest thing he had to "feelings" as in a relationship was with Ron. But without the sexual element, of course. But you raise a good point. I also think Fez was just an angry, cranky fella during this period of show.
