Very informative!! In fact, I subbed to your channel because of THIS very video!! This is the first time I've ever seen anyone do a "how to" on body mounting AHM/Rivarossi/IHC streamlined cars!! I'm currently body mounting 5 Rivarossi cars (2 baggages & 3 sleepers) and I wasn't quite sure on how go about it, but thanx to this video I have an idea!! Thanx again and I'll be looking forward to seeing your next video!!! 🙂

This was a very interesting. Is the coupler on the body better than the truck if you are running 85 foot cars on 18" radius?

More than likely not!! A 24" radius curve would be the absolute minimum for 85' cars -- especially with body mounted couplers!! And nothing tighter than #6 switches on the mainlines also!!! 😉

the modification at about 14 minutes, with the custom offset bolster, are you converting an AHM/ric/IHC type passenger car? Out club has turns of at least 36" so I have no worries there. Also, did you add those walthers style couplers too? can you buy those, and do they work better than just adding #5 coupler boxes, or are they only needed for tighter radius? My home layout has 21-23 inches, but my passenger trains will primarily live at the club.
