I absolutely love every version of this song, including the video here. I have played this CD of both Sexsmith and Bubl'e many, many times. Love them both. It is a beautifully-haunting love ballad that will be enjoyed for many years to come. It was released in 2008, but I did not hear it until 2012. I play it at least 5 times per week now!

What a great song. What a great video. I have never seen a director who has the dancers dancing to the bass line. Great stuff. Well done. I hope Ron's music inspires many singers to accept the voice they have and be proud of themselves. I personally would hate it if the world was full of 6 octave voices who never faltered. I've checked out his other albums and I couldn't find one as good as the one this is from, Retriever. The songs are so melodic. He is always heartfelt, but this album has unforgettable anthems. When I first heard it, it gave me comfort and consolation. He really expresses my where my soul is at.

The Michael Buble cover is nice do not get me wrong its a song I've come back to & championed for over 10+ years. However, just now decided to look up Sixsmith's version .....And I am Just like YYYYYYEEEESSSS!!!! the originals are always the best! The cover does not do justice with Ron's parts. I Did not anticipate the style change from his version to Mr. Bubble's version Either. The early 2000's vibes of the music video was just peak! This version is now my go to version.

I feel almost the exact same! It would've been Bublé's counterpart Alan Chang's doing, his stylisation of which I am generally a fan of. And so I give him credit as I would have never heard of this song in the first place. However this original version sounds almost like a whole different song, and has given me the push to get back into redoing piano covers

Interesting.....Just reading the comments here, & I have to say that I agree with the folks who think this is not a good video. (The song is SUPERB, as most of Ron's songs are) but the video would have been much better WITHOUT the horrible choreography of the dancers, & the repeating CGI's of people walking by in the background.
