Ron White is an American stand up comedian and actor, best known as a charter member of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. Nicknamed "Tater Salad", he is the author of the book I Had the Right to Remain Silent But I Didn't Have the Ability, which appeared on the New York Times best seller list.

It's funny they mentioned Bill Hicks, I've always thought that Bill & Ron had similar speech patterns and style, U can definitely see Bill's influence on Ron's style... Also I'm used to Ron always being so nonchalant, this is the first time I've heard him fight back tears and struggle to maintain composure... Every one is human at the end of the day

Ron Bennington Interviews Thank you for posting. Damn good job. I have not had the pleasure of listening to you before. Like Howard Stern interviewing Tiny Tim, I appreciate how you made Mr White comfortable in speaking of about himself and his life. Craig Ferguson was able to do that also. And you know you nailed it as an interviewer, because Ron White did not deflect answers by telling jokes. Personally I am glad you did not post it as a video. Your audio post caused me to LISTEN closely and hear Everything that Mr. White was speaking of. To hear him speak of himself and what he did[to himself] through the years, makes for how amazing it is that he is Here, Alive and amongst us with his brand of humor, when so many others,that he knew, are not. Thank goodness, I grew up as a youngster, when radio was still "The Theatre of the Mind". The experience helped me to appreciate this interview.

Thought Ron lived in Austin. I knew his personal assistants mom. She lived in " The Inn of the Hills " in Lakeway. Lake Travis. Texas. I saw Ron at Threadgills in Austin at the Fun, fun, fun fest. He's the prettiest man I've ever seen.
