Another simple thing to add to my previous comment: CR7 age 37 should not be considered he should be considered as he was 27/30 looking at his high fitness he should only be praised for keeping himself out of injuries and effectively a bargain if u divide Goals and minutes played by his wage....

On Neville and Rooney it seemed less about dressing code and more about them not considering the death of his child in their criticism of him and how they should've understood from being team mates with him that maybe there were other factors at play they weren't aware about and could've asked him about. As for Rangnick, I don't think what he said was outrageous. Most people outside Germany wouldn't have considered him a top coach and Ronaldo himself suggested he thought of him as more of a dof which is what I think we all hoped he would become. Also not naming Bruno is a non issue, he clearly wasn't going to name everyone so anyone not name checked shouldn't really be offended. I don't think the interview was as explosive as suggested so far and think Ronaldo came across quite well.

Whether you agree or not with Ronaldo or the interview as a whole, this situation is a direct result of the way the club is run under the ownership. Ego/character traits are irrelevant. The bigger picture is the main problem. It’s horrendous.

Mark's anti-Ole rhetoric is crazy annoying. Blames Ole for overspending on Maguire and others, but blames the club for overspending on Anthony and Martinez. What kind of double standard is this? Ragnick was no better than Ole at united, yet he jumps to his defense every time.

You’re comparing an interim that wasn’t gonna get the job anyway who managed the squad for few months with none of his signings, to Ole who had 3yrs hundreds of millions spent and no trophy?

Ronaldo was probably right calling out the players and the management of the club. But throwing Rangnick under the bus like that was diabolical. Rangnick was never given a chance to play the way he wanted to. The players didn't want to listen to him from the offset. Yes, Rangnick made some questionable decisions in some of the games (for example, his in game management versus Wolves was very poor), but the players never got his back. Plus he was meant to step up into a consultancy role to work with the next manager, but then he was kicked out of the club for one reason or another. So, judging Rangnick based on his time as an interim manager was just pure nonsense, especially when Rangnick was the first person in a long time to speak up about the problems at the club.
@ahmadu57542 жыл бұрын
Yep. When you have a player like Cr7 not respecting you from the start, the younger ones would not listen to you. I think Cr7 also hates the idea of pressing which Rangnick and Ten Hag are all about.
@Parky_17122 жыл бұрын
It's funny how people have seen a clearly edited clip (with no context yet) of Ronaldo saying he doesn't respect Ten Hag and didn't like it so can't accept anything else Ronaldo has said, despite how true they might be. And the irony is, is that those same people will just dismiss any 'defending' of Ronaldo as just being a 'fanboy' 😅
@pegak.45522 жыл бұрын
Its unfortunate to see things turned out this way. But Ronaldo took "one for the team" by speaking out about things going on at MU. We've known that issues started at the top and ended with the lack of hunger and drive for greatness from players Only thing that I don't like is him taking shots at Ragnick and ETH. Poor Ragnick said the team wasn't good enough in the first place

Regarding the united players ronaldo highlighted, he wasn't talking about the ones he liked, but rather the ones he thought would have longevity in their careers due to the way they conducted themselves. This doesn't mean Ronaldo doesn't like anyone else in the dressing room.

He didn't really blame Ralph, but he did say that it made no sense to sign him as an interim manager when he's been a sporting director for a while, which is factual. Not to say he isn't good, but it was like throwing someone like Beckham back as a starter when he hasn't played in years.
