Messi rarely gives interviews and doesn’t like spotlight and all that -ironically- but he always showed respect and talked good about cr7 when he was asked about him. And cr7 used to take jabs at him pre 2016ish but now he shows respect to him as well

They aren't exactly friends but they have always been pretty respectful towards each other. They played on rival teams for a while so there were some heated moments but that's just part of the game.

They’ve always praised each other and be chopping it up at award shows/after the game. Never been no bitter feelings between the two. Ronaldo said they don’t have a friendship but wants to have dinner with Messi one day.

They have a relationship of great respect, but clearly don't like each other because they haven't hung out once. Cristiano actually extended an olive branch during an interview at an awards ceremony and said that he would like in the future to go for a dinner with Messi. And Messi looked all awkward and to this day I believe they haven't met outside a football pitch. PS: in Messi's favor though, the guy doesn't really hang out with anyone from outside his little circle of family and close friends. And the occasional child who happens to be one of his kid's best friends and who spend the night at the Messi house. The guy went to pick up his kids at school inbetween training sessions. He's got no time for pesky dinners 😂

Match ups mean nothing in football, so this video is pretty useless. Messi and Ronaldo can be on the same pitch for 90 minutes and not touch each other once, because the pitch is so big and they stand on opposite sides. Plus neither of them play defence. I suggest reacting to them separately, so you can see their attributes and see who you prefer
