The main intention was to bring in their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren as if there no other Indian is eligible to be a leader. Looking at the face of President Reagen, it looks like he was not expecting such point to point, well drafted and effective speech from Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi (who happens to be from a so called or known Backward or developing country). I wonder, when he shook hands with Prime Minister after the speech, if he said, ‘you had a better speech than me. A native English speaker is impressed at your level of delivering such an outstanding speech’. In another video, I saw President Reagan look at Prime Minister Indira Gandhi when she delivered her speech on her USA visit. Both the mother and son delivered a speech which was much much better than what President Reagan read. Feels good when I see my Indian people speak and work shoulder to shoulder and outperform other people on International platform.
