I was assigned to a top secret mission on the day that the president of the united states visited the camp. The mission was washing his food tray and utensils after he was done eating. It was the best mission I have ever been on. RIP Mr. President.

Was security on Marine One and was able to spend some weekends there. President Reagan visited Camp David more than any other president. Almost 200 times. He was always good to his military personnel. On and off camera. He walked up and spoke to me at his ranch helipad waiting for the first lady. Such a humble and kind man.

Back in the Spring of 1988 While working on a road project as a Construction Equipment operator with the Navy Seabees at Quantico Marine Corp Base, President Reagans motorcade drove up and he stopped it to get out and chat with us for a few minutes. He was incredibly down to earth and it spoke volumes about his character that he would stop to chat with us.

@@joeiiiful Negative. Reagan inherited a bad economy from Carter and fixed it. Trump inherited a great economy from Obama, rode on his coattails for 3 years, and flushed it down the toilet. Reagan brought the country together, reached out to his political opposition, provided comforting words during times of national sorrow, and was rewarded with a landslide reelection victory. Trump just spread gas over everything, played only to his base, and got rejected at the polls.

A DAMN fine man--and a damn good president for our time back then. I was outside Simi valley when I heard on the radio he had passed away back in 04. I think the whole country stopped that day. A great man a great legacy.

I served under 6 presidents and Reagan was definitely the best-a humble servant leader who his vision for our Country aligned with his personal vision of a better America through strong leadership. Truly miss him. Rest in eternal peace, Mr. President.

This is such a wonderful video. This military camp must have been so honored to have President Reagan himself come and have lunch with them. Very amazing. He was such a wonderful man, he was funny, and he was a very dedicated leader. He passed away when I was just over 3 and a half years old. God bless President Reagan, and God bless the military for doing such a fantastic job serving the country.
