With all due respect, Ronan Farrow has no journalistic integrity whatsoever. He may have blown the Weinstein story wide open, but that doesn't mean he really has spoken or does speak for victims. He has gone out of his way to discredit and silence his siblings Moses Farrow and Soon-Yi Previn when they came forward with their accusations of abuse at the hands of their adopted mother, his own mother Mia Farrow. That's a story he could blow wide open if he the pair of balls it would take to stand up to her. Of course that will never happen because she has brainwashed him beyond repair. She is the real abuser. Three of her children are dead. Two by suicide. Yet Allen v Farrow failed to even mention them outside of briefing glossing over their pictures. Ronan is a journalist and should know better. But he will never do better. He will NEVER have integrity.
@55whiplash3 жыл бұрын
@@chloemedeiros3546 If you read his book, he does acknowledge and in several cases throws himself under the bus for not supporting his siblings. He also criticizes himself for soft-pedalling NBC cover up and killing the initial report. It's still great reporting and deserves the Pulitzer he received. But I guess not everyone isn't perfect like...you lol.
@chloemedeiros35463 жыл бұрын
@@55whiplash Where in my comment did I say I was perfect? That came out of nowhere. But I digress. My point is there is a clear pattern of gaslighting and abuse committed by Mia Farrow and he is still going along with it. If he acknowledged he hasn't done much for his siblings in writing, fine. In my opinion though, actions speak louder than words. If he took the action to say "Let's hear out the claims of my siblings Moses and Soon Yi" I'd have more respect for him. Yet he hasn't done this, and probably never will. That was the point I was making. That he has become apart of Mia Farrow's narrative (of believing his father is evil despite there being more evidence of brainwashing from Mia than evidence of abuse from Woody) rather than taking a look at everything in a more objective way. The way a journalist is suppose to investigate these stories.

True Journalism may not be dead but true reporting is. You can’t spread great journalism without a supportive, huge platform that refuses to suppress truth. The networks do that but so do EVERY SINGLE SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM. Think about all the Republicans independent journalists that reported on, for instance as a VERY clear example, Clinton’s abundant shady dealings that have been deplatformed FOREVER. What about Hunter Bidens multi million dollar deal with Burisma that was framed as false when in fact it was true.

With this high school audience, he had some lighthearted banter in the beginning to connect with his audience and throughout the interview and with the interviewer. He has spoken about his preparation for his interviews. Believe that he is purposeful,meticulous, and always thinking in interviews. As an English teacher, I can't wait to read his book. His description of his writing process and the style of his writing sounds fascinating. Did not know about his podcast. Will be looking for it. After listening to this interview, I'm convinced he was meant to do this. No one else could have the tenacity, integrity, conviction, and connections to convict Harvey Weinstein. I hope he continues to look into the Jan. 6th capital riot and brings that story to light.

I suspect this is true of corporate business as well. Seem to be able to "encourage" smaller PR firms not to take cases as they do with some medical small business.

"People seemed to get it". Probably because they got the same knife in the back and then there's everybody's experience finding out that The Law everyone's "Equal" before, is pretty neatly inverted truth, (aka known as Evil), that is why Science.., to discover the Actuality of mono-dualistic Individuality sense-in-common cause-effect, and rightwrong "Balance of Probabilities" that Lawyers play games with and for, whichever pays best.

How can they persist in following you in their cars watching you live an impoverished life while they risk nothing cause they have backup and lots of ways to rescue themselves from bad situations. You turn into the freak in a town that bows to their control. Why would people watch you struggling for 15 years and standby watching your life go down in wasted minutes when they have power to help.

Because powerful people fear losing their power. Silencing survivors is a sick part of our culture

WHY ISN'T HE TALKING ABOUT GHISLAINE MAXWELL AND EPSTEIN???
@napachick1005 жыл бұрын
Why aren't other people? The book is about... catching and killing the story of people abused. What part don't you get? Can you imagine talking about all the victims and abusers ALL of them, in one interview. We all know this is not all the people that could be talked about, or do you?
@napachick1005 жыл бұрын
Why isn't he talking about all the priests who molested children? One person can only do so much. It takes a family to care for a child, maybe, maybe not.

Look up True Anon podcast adela. It's a parody of Qanon but goes into the Epstein case and the connection to the wealthy and powerful. Unsurprisingly there are connections between the them.

Ronan is extraordinarily noble. I’m deeply proud of his profound ethics & courageous fighting. He’s to be applauded, as are all who’ve been horrifically harmed, yet still fought mountains to expose & surmount abject evil.

Don't be fooled. This guy is making a huge business out of this whole thing. All this social fighting is the product he sells and people buy. Actually he deeply belongs to that system he supposedly fights against. Remember: these persecutors (and the organizations that are behind them) are not much better than the people they persecute.

You are joking - aren't you????? He was sacked by one of those 'organisations'. If that hadn't happened he would still be employed as a normal journalist - not having to market his investigations himself

Regarding touching your hair: No, not sometimes - you fidget with far too much - verging on "all the time" from a viewer's standpoint. It is totally unprofessional and you should get it styled so you do not "have to" touch it *ever* once you are on stage or on camera anywhere. Long before you mentioned it, I had become irritated by that tendency, one that reminded me of how Martha Stewart was constantly brushing her bangs away during a cooking show. Yetch. Not professional. Not endearing. Not cute. Nope.

I pity you young man. Life is circular; what you do comes back to YOU. You sound good on paper, but puffed idealism will never stand up against simple reality. Though King David was Divinely made, EVEN HE was not made as that same simple, little Lily.
