When I fought, many, many, moons ago, One of my big strengths was reading my opponents body language. At this weight in, if you watch close, Cat was posing, Ronda, was the real deal. See how Cat looks on, staring at Ronda after the face off. She was in awe, trying to convince her self that she could beat Ronda. Ronda, meanwhile, is facing her fans, without a thought about Cat. This mindset in Cat, caused her to rush Ronda, hoping to get a surprise KO in the first round. Now, before Cat fans get mad at me. I respect Cat, she could kick my butt in a heartbeat. But she, just wasn't in the zone. You have to be in the zone. Watch this weigh in again, and see the difference in their body language.

It's hard to predict this one. I'm a Ronda fan, but this could be a shock. Cat looks more intensely focused on this fight, but at the same time, she looks a bit drained. Ronda doesn't look at conditioned, but more relaxed. I think this could be a surprise KO victory for Zigano. I hope that doesn't happen, but this is a woman who just became a widow, and has a lot motivating her.

I'm going to get attacked for this but how about weighing them fight night? Instead of them dehydrating themselves down to 135 and then hydrating and eating like crazy to gain as much of a weight advantage as possible? Then they would actually fight at their weight class. Instead of 15-25 pounds heavier. Probably a lot healthier also.

Ronda made good on her statement. 14 seconds is unbelievable. STOP saying Cat just made a mistake! She was destroyed by a far superior fighter in judo and grappling. If cat didn't rush in at first the fight still goes to the ground, it's just about inevitable, so you get a longer fight, Yes but with the same outcome.

Rousey's win against zingano was a fluke.....i watched zingano against nunes, and she destroyed nunes in every department. zingano also showed heart/ skills against miesha tate. Eventually smashing tate up in the 3rd round. Against rousey, zingano had a rush of blood, opened with a flying knee, left her arm out and rousey said "thank you" and nearly broke it.
