Arca Swiss is, in my experience, very popular among people who own the smaller cameras that this product is designed for. No issue with the review (your work is always top shelf), just an observation I had. I received my SC yesterday and it will be exclusively set up with my A6500 and Sigma 16mm. I will keep my Ronin S for my A7III’s and G Master lenses. Active track essentially makes this a hyperlapse dream machine. 😊 Thanks for the review!

Luminari Productions totally agree. The Ronin SC is only $359 USD here in Canada (no idea why because all other DJI products are exactly the same price as US) so it was a no brainer to add to my kit, essentially for creating hyperlapses with my A6500 and active track. 😊

I think it’s a matter of manufacturer choice.. some markets prefer the idea of having built in battery and just charging via a usb straight to the gimbal.. other markets like the idea of swapping out the batteries with fresh ones , for which these types of batteries are readily available to purchase. Pros and cons to both designs. I personally own the crane 2 and prefer the option to buy new batteries if ever my existing ones start to die out. My concern with the Ronin is if the in built battery decides to go bad, would it mean buying a whole new lower handle/battery since it is a proprietary design?

MaBMWi3 i just got my sc and is waiting for my xt4 with 16-80 lens. What sd card do u use for 4k video recording?
@bricecarette44124 жыл бұрын
Zhongyi Ding (I’m MaBmwi3) Cool ! I’m sure you’ll be happy with the video performances :) For SD Cards: I just received 2x 128 Go SanDisk Extreme Pro class 10 u3 170Mbps. (I used for a couple of weeks a 32Mbps class 10 u3 95 Mbps and it worked too but better peformances with the new ones)

Brice Carette i have the 170 too. But i saw online that it is good for 200 Mbps 4K video shooting but not good enough for 400 Mbps max setting...Although I won’t likely shoot 400 Mbps max due to file size, still feel missing out. Lol.
@bricecarette44124 жыл бұрын
@@tommytexter4054 I feel you about the 400Mbps. TBH, I managed to record 200Mbps on the 95MB Extreme Pro, so I suppose I could still record the 400Mbps on the 170... maybe xD

Hi Max I'm using a7riii with 24mm GM, and I have Ronin S. However, should I switch Ronin S to Ronin SC? because I don't use really big camera, so I think Ronin SC is better for me?

If you want to save on size/weight then yes.

I use the ronin sc with a 16mm sigma and works perfect i would say that might max it out

I Just sold my crane plus and ordered Ronin-SC (because of axis lock, arca swiss plate, better visibility of the back screen and for 360 roll). I use Sony a6000 and plan to stay with aps-c cameras from Sony

How about comparing the Ronin SC with the Zhiyun Weebil Lab? I need the best compact gimbal for travel.

Did you try the autotune on the Ronin SC? That helps a lot with getting rid of the jitter in my experience. I've had the Crane 1 and 2 and now I have the Ronin S and SC and what I found out is that Zhiyun is overestimating the payload and DJI is underestimating it. Above 2kg (4.4lbs) on the Crane 2, I couldn't get really stable footage anymore, especially when I tried a RED on there without battery/screen and a light lens. I've tried this on the Ronin S with the screen and battery still attached (around 4.5kg), and it was no problem at all.

So you're saying you bought a gimbal took it out to shoot without making any adjustments and you're blaming the gimbal for this, 04:13 It seems like you didn't go to your location prepared and wanted to do something on the fly and got mediocre results. if that is the case I would say that your fault not the gimbals fault. Is this unreasonable to you and if so I am willing to listen further. Thank you
@MetalFacedGamer4 жыл бұрын
And I'll be up front I completely gave you a thumbs down for this. Why? I spent five plus minutes just to find out that you did not come outside prepared. This lease me to believe that you made the video as quickly as possible to put it up to get views. That leads me at to believe is that the viewer's best interest is not in your heart. I hope you take this as constructive criticism and improve the quality of your reviews. If you really want to step your game up put time stamps in the description for longer videos. I doubt I'll be returning but still wish you the best.
