Something I've heard mentioned a lot is that it is easier to install neopixel on the k4v2 than on the mk1. That's why I went with the k4v2 since it'll be my first time building a saber.

How do these compare when it comes to sound? The 89Sabers has a very clever sound vent in the pommel. The MK1 has to have the speaker inside the clamp section. Which one do you find sounds better/louder? I've been under the assumption the 89Sabers would be louder, especially if your hand covers the clamp on the Mk1. Is that your experience, or have you found otherwise?

I have now installed both a few times now and both are very loud. Yes at times you hand can cover the sound but it's a small price to pay for accuracy.
