The greatest singer of all time. I was 12 years old when Elvis past, Came home off the school bus and mom and some of our friends were in the house crying? I asked what the matter? Mom said Elvis died? So I started to cry to? Thanks Ronnie keep up the great work and never forget the king .

Ronnie is spectacular & never once has he ever insinuated any thing but how much he was Elvis' biggest fan from the time he was a young boy & how much he loved keeping Elvis' memory alive...Jealous people always have something rude to say about super great singers!!!!

Ronnie McDowell along with David Thiebeault's version of "Blue Christmas" are the 2 best Elvis Singers I have ever heard. I live in Nashville, and I worked with Ronnie's Nephew at a job around 1998, and he told me this great story that Priscilla gave Ronnie a huge Ring and other super valuable collectible items that belonged to Elvis because she used Ronnie to record all the Elvis songs for her movie - "Elvis and Me". He is Priscilla's favorite Elvis singer. His Nephew told me that Ronnie kept them in a safe in his house in Kentucky just an hour or less north of Nashville- had them insured and really treasured them - they would be worth a fortune to collectors!

I've paid tribute to Elvis since I was 10 years old where I won 1st place at the county fair in Natchez, Ms. I went on to perform in over 1500 live shows since and am a 7 time world finalist in the largest E contest in the world but I have NEVER and will never claim to be Elvis . I was raised on Jesus, Elvis and cornbread (in that order)

funnily enough when he had a interview he was talking about how his singing began, and when he mentioned the song called the king is gone he orginally sang it like ronnie mcdowell then someone said to him that he needed to sound like Elvis when it came to singing 'When The King Is Gone'. then thats how he became a sound a like for kurt russell film called Elvis. the guy is certainly the real deal

Not so sure I agree with you on Ronnie has "never tried to sing like Elvis". I mean, when you read the words to the song he wrote in 77 while driving along the interstate, it clearly says "And I'd stand in front of a mirror... Day and night And I'd listen to every one of his records And I'd repeat every word... And every note... ... till, somehow, I finally got it right... And I was determined... I'd wait for the day... That I could stand and sing in front of an audience And maybe someoned come up to ME and say... Yknow, you sound just like Elvis" so, I have to argue the point on he has always used "his own" voice. Like a Beatle once said, "Before Elvis, there was nothing".

Yes Ronny has. He has his own voice his own shows yes but he also does a Elvis show as well. He did the soundtrack for the Elvis series that they had on TV what the young Albus growing up becoming a superstar. Ronnie is a very nice gentleman I never met him but I can tell by watching him on his videos. And he is one of the biggest next to me fan of Elvis Presley. He's has song with several Elvis impersonators. You're right he never claimed to be an Elvis. There's only one Elvis and he will be the first one to tell you that. But he did do and Elvis track. I'm not sure if he dressed up or not like Elvis leaving like that but he did do all the music for the TV series of Elvis. Of course he had to get the okay from the president's state. And I believe not only he did the track to that series he also did some other work with movies that had Elvis Strong's in it. Because it was cheaper for the movie they have him sing the songs and then have the real Elvis vocals. That's normally how it's done.
