Just looked her up on Marine Traffic, she's just cleared the Island of Newfoundland after leaving Montreal on May 8th, she's headed to Gijon, Spain and scheduled to arrive on May 18th.

Wow, a really big ship, kinda fancy too! Whats with all the recent wind turbine blades!!!????😮😮😮😮
@allenra530Ай бұрын
The blades are replacements for the blades that have reached the end of their service life on older wind turbine installations. It turns out that the blades are not lasting even half as long as they were expected to. The manufacturer in China is having to divert production from new installations to take care of the sudden demand for the replacements.

Not sure but they’re fun to see! Hope we continue to get more!

@@allenra530these come from the Netherlands, any Chinese products would not arrive through Duluth, they’d come through a Pacific port.

Take a drive through the midwestern US, whirlybirds everywhere.
I wonder what it's like getting a job on those ships?

Be a different life for sure

Blades long on the ship but really big on two railroad cars
@jonathanellsworth2119 күн бұрын
Oh yes, they unloaded them off the ship and onto those cars, put them next to the highway. Huge
@pixie706Ай бұрын
I would imagine those huge blades are a bit awkward to unload.

I keep trying to catch them unloading them, never managed it yet! Got another one coming up the lakes by the look of things, will see if I can get that one
