I notice that too, many uploads of the song obviously used the European PAL version, something I despise for films and television especially, since for TV and movies, PAL runs slightly fast, and is infamous for pitching the audio slightly higher, I would rather have NTSC.

I wish Dreamworks would make more musicals. This and the Prince of Egypt have fun and ear-worming songs that can be stuck in your head in a good way. Some People may say that trolls counts as a musical but that’s more like a Jute-box Musical, not to mention 2 of their cancelled projects Monkeys in Mumbai and Larrikins were going to be musicals with original musical numbers. People always say that Disney is the king of animated musicals but it’s kinda heartbreaking we don’t have some flavor from others doing it (outside of Sony when they made Vivo)

It's unfortunately the other way around. The soundtrack is the way the songs were written and recorded by Elton John. Those songs were then remixed for the movie by adding film score and different arrangements. I am still very sad that the soundtrack does not have the movie versions on it though

I can't believe it took me until two years ago to FINALLY see this movie! Absolutely love everything about it, and most of all the Colin Mochrie/Ryan Stiles chemistry of Miguel and Tulio and Tulio himself who's so perfectly the 'exasperated dad of a teenage daughter' character despite not even being one;)
