So how do we get the rounded plastic screws out lol

Do we have to cut the rubber out to find these screws?

@@connorwaghorn2187 The rubber gutter strip is glued on, but with some gentle persuasion you can slowly peel it back from each end to locate the screw positions, after 'neatly' drilling a hole through the rubber, press it back in position. NB: If you buy a new set of Ford roof bars they actually come with a kit of 6 pre cut replacement rubbers and 4 screw cover caps, so you don't have to go through all that faff.

I have just ordered this roof bar kit for my MK7, however I have heard a few people say that they leak, and let water into the interior, have you had this problem?

Any idea of the measurements to locate these holes please?

31cm from the front edge of the roof and 51 from the rear edge of the roof. For mine. You can peel back the plastic gutter strip, mark the hole to drill then stick it back down. Should look pretty neat.

What year model you have and how the roof trim was installed, tape, glue or something?

Hi Michael, under the strip is like a plastic gromet do you drill that out? Or screw it out

I cannot find the holes? Mine is a 2014 st 3door.

Best to check with Ford dealership as they may be located differently on a 3 door Fiesta.

mine is a 3 door 2012 version and after removing trim moudable rubber bars, holes are there and covered in a rubberish material.. its easily spoted by eye because its an irregual surface zone, and with a knife you can remove that bolt protection..

@@chazteb ahahah, true! my first screw i remember it came out damaged as hell. The next ones were a bit easier. Did you fit the bars? Mine were original ford rack bars i found online, i spent like 2h to get it done

@@ssergi0 yep, did them today, those screws are a nightmare, they look sick on the roof though!
