It is a cold 25 degree January morning here in Connecticut and 6 am , still am having trouble sitting at the computer and not working on my 3270 after watching the great job you did. I had a gas tank start leaking in sept and been very lucky to get it safely resolved, now that it is going to be ok I feel like a kid with a new boat and am spending every sunny day working on it for the next year, Happy New Year to all and a great job you did, you should be rightfully proud. from USA.

Nice work and great video. Enjoy your extra space. We got 2005 Mainship 34 about 8 months ago, mostly because of the fly bridge space. You won’t be disappointed! I keep thinking about replacing the Bimini with a hard top. Now that you added your extension, I’ll spend some time looking into DIY hard tops.

Many thanks for for this and your channel. I have a serious interest in acquiring a 3288, from your videos I have become somewhat familiar with the details of this boat. Thanks to COVID-19 I cannot at this time get to see the boat I may purchase. Hopefully soon, if I go ahead, I have a long sea passage to get this boat home, two 250 mile open water legs. The hard top is a feature I think best suits this boat. Can I ask, does it influence the balance of the boat, I saw a comment from one owner who removed the radar arch to make the boat more stable due weight issues. Appreciate your view. Thanks for liking my movies. I did not notice any difference in the weight distribution before / after the roof was built. the boat is exactly the same. The larger canvas make the boat feel wind sensitive at low speeds. If we look at the weight distribution in my boat, I have 6 batteries under the floor in the kitchen and as you will see next week I have extended the hull under the bathing jetty.

Det är för att få den styv till en låg vikt. Så är däcket på din båt byggt. Men då oftast balsa trä då det är billigare.

@@MyBoatandMylife Det tycker jag du gjorde rätt i, längre bak än så hade sett konstigt ut. Jag har lekt med tanken att göra något liknande på min Princess 385 för att få större flybridge men jag tror inte jag orkar med ett sådant projekt.
