Oh that is interesting as the roof rack in the video will fit Defender 90 and the roof of the Series 3 is the same as the Series 2.

There ya go! thanks for the link. I saw the fella below says it won't fit his series 2A so I'm guessing it won't adorn the top of my creation. I'm getting ahead of myself however seeing the series 1 is still just a chassis on wheels.

We meet again Mr Foreman. In the more recent video the very same roof is now fitted on my Series 2 and a 2a roof is spot on the same. Provided you have a 88inch wheel base you will be fine. Well that hard prep must coming to a close for the Series 1 ?

@@seriouslyseriesaustralia waiting on parts! That brings one’s momentum down to a sudden stop. Good to know about the rack fitting, all the 88” seem to have similar measurements but it would be a pricey purchase if I was wrong.

Hi Geoff really enjoy your channel and like this vid of the roof rack but can I ask you do a review after you do put it through the ringer, I have quite a few Front Runner products which I reallly like but they can produce some very mid range products and by the look of this roof rack I'd have to say it also looks prity mid range, take it down the Canning or Anne Beadell Tracks and see if its still on top of the Series 3 at the end I'd be surprised if it is, Alloy just doesn't cut it on corrugations especially if you have a bit of wait on it I can see those mounts snapping very quickly so please do a review after a decent trip with it I'd really like to know how it performs. But having said that I am a huge Fan of the Expedition Centre my own vehicle is a prime example of what this company can produce and the knowledge and advise I have received from them is second to none. Just picked up one of these to replace my Safety Devices rack since I can't fit my new Eezi Awn tent. Custom ordered it full length and low profile for my Disco 2, they only sell 77" normally while the roof is 93"
