We have been in business since 1995. I have never had a sales team and we have never knocked on doors. We have had moderate success. Now my youngest son has joined our business and possible that my oldest son may come back to the business. It's time to grow. I have never (mostly never) supplemented any projects unless they were glaringly wrong. I enjoyed this video and have shared it with my team. Thanks.

I got to this channel because my neighbor is doing a roof claim. His troubles got me thinking. I got to this video because I am in sales and a corporate trainer. Becca nails the reason what it takes to win at ANY sales. Everyone needs a beneficial/value reason to play on the same team. Everyone needs to win. When followed up with communication and a goal, how can you not win.

Purchased 1 of Becca's courses a few months back. Tons of info and I still haven't completed it yet. Kind of cherry picking from the lessons included in "Advanced Sales & Supplement Training Program" My favorite part of this section is the email approach to supplements. Completely eliminated the back and forth arguments with the adjusters for supplements. Thank you both for taking the time to make this!

I've always been hesitant to buy a course because there are just so many out there. But I very well may buy Becca's soon! She has quickly become a favorite roofing mentor of mine. It was a fun day, the day she accepted my LinkedIn connection! I'm the most inspired by the fact that she's a tattooed woman in roofing, like I am. I'm very inspired by you, Becca and hope to actually meet you one day. You too, Dmitry! I regularly send both of your KZbin videos to my team members.

Thanks for having Becca on here, I really love her knowledge and energy. God awarded we with an extra dose of ADHD and it's very difficult to follow most people on You Tube Channels because they can't deliver content and cut to the damn chase. You and her both deliver and that's why your so successful because most contractors have this also. When Becca mentioned that people were coming to her at the first seminar is a great example of what I'm talking about. Keep the great info coming, I love Roofing Insights.

Definitely intrigued and looking to hear more. I think we will start to outsource our supplements. Not finishing courses has to do with time. Delegation is so important but as a small business and just starting out having time to do everything needed to keep the company going is an insanely large task and time is hard to come by. I’ve watched many of her videos and this interview has a lot that helps explain to me about her and her business. Seems legit!

Thanks for all the great KZbin content you both put out, I learn a ton nibbling around the edges. Without this basic knowledge I would be so much further behind than I am. I know I would get my money’s worth with one of Becca’s programs, or other educational programs, but just never pulled the trigger. I even talked to Becca about her program my first week on the job last summer and was sold, and then I got slammed with work and could barely keep my head above water. Coming from a salaried job for 15+ years there is just so much that is unknown about the seasonality of the income and how to budget, especially when you have a family, mortgages, etc. Spending money on anything besides gas is difficult for me. Keep up your hard work...it helps us green horns more than you’ll ever know!

I am sceptical because of previous experience. # 1 reason for not completing a course. If Thursday morning is the training and i have an adjustment pop up on Thursday morning or bombarded by calls I get distracted and maybe unable to act on whatever learning I missed on. Especially if it's a Thursday morning call that was live and then you missed it and can't go back to it. Best thing in a course for me today would be able to access all the information on my time.

This is literally our number one problem as we speak. We hired 2 companies, 1 didnt go hard enough and charged 20%, and the other was so unprofessional he was writing for valley metal when there wasn't any valleys on the roof. Also when ins companies pushed back or wouldnt pay,,he would threaten them with "our legal department". He would argue with ins in a very unprofessional way on our behalf and make us look like scumbags, He Held up every claim, ins companies were laughing at us and when they would see this guys shit come through, and like I said when they wouldn't pay, he would threaten them with our legal department, and not tell anyone and let it sit in limbo, because he pre charged his $250. We are a 5 star extremely ethical company and need an ethical supplement company to work or or the right training platform... Also Job nimbus definitely helped with tracking his emails and being able to track what they were doing. Great topic man

There's a right way and a wrong way to do everything. Unfortunately many companies have never had formal guidance in best practices for anything, so they cut corners, lie, cheat, etc. Learning what items you can add legitimately, knowing what to say, and how to negotiate with adjusters professionally is a game changer! We do great at door knocking, leads from the internet, getting on roofs and supplementing. Where we fall down is getting clients to sign contracts. Our guys are putting a lot of emphasis on the inspection being no cost on obligation. Then we get months down the road and the client gets other bids despite us warning them that the most expensive roof is the cheap one that leaks.

Great feedback, but I want to challenge you: let’s say you buy 4 $500 courses. 3 of them are waste of money and horrible but one helped you double your business. So you paid $2000 and double your business. Half of the money you will spend on online education will be wasted. Problem is you don’t know which half.

I’m definitely not trying to step on anyone’s toes ...BUT, now that I have that out-of-the-way..lol.. Becca and Roof Sales Mastery is something You CAN Start Doing Right this Second!!! and still supplement plenty of items.. EXAMPLE= once you begin tear off, there could be a 2nd or 3rd layer of shingles AND Valley Metal. AND a P.W.I. CITY PERMIT FOR $900.. You see what I mean , alot of supplements needed but just need to show themselves possibly.. ..along with Alena Wilson’s XM8 Mastery.. IF I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN THEIR COURSES SOONER I COULD HAVE PROBABLY PAID FOR A HOUSE... CASH!!... off of the Supplements/ & Initial Claim $ Increase Alone from how much they both taught me with STRATEGY & MISSING ( / IMPROPERLY ACCOUNTED FOR (“REPLACE”, But should be “Rem.&Rep.”)) LINE ITEMS.... YOU WONT REGRET IT!!

My thought on your question of why people dont take courses, I honestly Think It’s Intimidation, and Confidence. For those who know what I’m talking about let me tell you I’m 22 years Old I Started My Home Improvement Business About 2 years ago but before that I went to school for HvAc now I was a very scared person I didn’t have a lot of confidence but one hot summer day I was very exhausted and I was on my lunch Break at work and the Idea of Being an HvAc technician poped back into my head after few years of always talking about but never doing it and as soon as I got off of work I went straight to school and asked and at the time I wasn’t making much money I had a few hundred dollars and I remember I went ahead and asked to apply and they had a payment program and they needed a deposit to start the process and I Went ahead and did it and i was left with 50 dollars and I was thinking to myself how I was going to have to make it with 50 for the rest of the week . Every since then I’ve gotten more confident and one thing led to another now I have my small business and it’s going very well . If your really interested in those courses they talked about just have confidence and do it . Thanks For These Videos Sir Keep Up The Amazing Work !

It is only getting worse out here in Texas. My average increase when I supplement is 85%. That does include missed damages. I am not a contractor but I work with a lot of them. Please contactors go get training, please get training. Without it you do not know how to properly look for the items on your inspection that are going to bump the price of that job way up.

Everyday homeowners have a choice to make from whom to buy a homeowners policy from. If they view a video from a company that is unsympathetic to approving a claim, chances are they will buy from a competing insurance company. Going the extra mile in helping a homeowner get a claim approved is good for business. Video sells, private non public letters or emails not so well in convincing an insurance company to approve.

The biggest reason for me not purchasing courses is honestly my lack of time but mostly confidence. What if I spend money on something and “I” can’t make it work. Then I am a failure. I know that mindset sucks and I’m doing my best to get away from it. I will overcome that especially with the assistance and knowledge gained by whom I believe to be such powerful industry leaders as Becca and Dmitry. I did purchase the training packet from (Diamonds In The Sky) and honestly it’s entirely my fault for not even reading it. I get so busy as a business owner and wearing way too many hats has consumed me and most of my time. However, most of the time I spend in hindsight end up being spinning wheels! I plan on going through Becca‘s entire course then insisting my team does as well. I respect both Becca and Dmitry highly. Obviously they know what they are doing. Becca has others best interest in mind or she wouldn’t be doing what she is doing. Same goes for Dmitry. These two are doing great things. Thank you both. Stay blessed.

"The Game?" Both of these people are the worst type of human beings. If someone needs a roof, it's ok to help a homeowner. If your motivated by financial gain and self interest than you are a "CROOK". Simple.

never have been motivated by money, give away thousands. But if you are in business you have to focus on profit and overhead and not be stupid. I don't believe in money driven business but also don't believe in being broke either.

@@roofsalesmastery If I buy a hamburger, the price is listed on the menu minus the sales tax. If I order something using Amazon Prime, I probably have a monthly subscription fee for my services to be expedited or access to content. If I need my roof replaced, I can get a dozen quotes from roof sales people who will quote the job and attempt to get every penny possible from my insurance company to inflate the claim/commission. The job will get subcontracted to a local team of exploited workers. The salesman gets their unearned/overpaid commission, the contractor gets their premium for their second-rate assigned work. Wash, rinse, repeat. The crookedness is evident, you're an opportunist. I sold a clothing line to Saks in 2007 for 25.3 million (my counter was the tax). Prior to that, every designer and label was copying my styles and finishes, hundreds of sales reps and distributors wanted access and exclusivity, Ed Hardy (the brand) signed a development deal. I generated 130+ million in fashion sales from 2003-2007 as a MBA student and kindergarten teacher. I started a web development firm in 2007 and have created dozen's of apps and scripts that are used all over the web, in Salesforce, Job Nimbus, eCommerce site and beyond. I create, innovate, think different. I develop tools to build, scale, save time and money. You two sell mediocre courses and exploit the property of others. I actively create innovation that removes the need for scummy salespeople, your both so full of it, that your not even paying attention. There's are many of us dedicated to giving purchase power and choice to the consumer. We did it in the music industry, in real estate, eCommerce, doing it in car sales and the list grows. It wont be long before an app will eliminate a need for a roof salesman all together Teaching others how to crook by getting line items on a claim is not a skill or profession, it's a scam, I'm pretty sure any 5th grader can understand and process, and even then I don't think its something to aspire to do as an adult. The problem is, if your not doing it or teaching someone, there's going to be someone to take your place right now. Not all business is ethical and both of you can't tell me you don't cheat and are completely honest in your practices, it's all over your faces and saying "businesses are in business for financial gain" is repulsive, especially to someone who went to business school. All together no real value to society, but your greed will keep doing the same thing, till it's gone.

@@cre8tivexchange Dude, the literal definition of business is "noun. an occupation, profession, or trade: His business is poultry farming. the purchase and sale of goods in an attempt to make a profit. a person, partnership, or corporation engaged in commerce, manufacturing, or a service; profit-seeking enterprise or concern." I don't know what to tell you, bud. But good luck out there.

@@roofsalesmastery Defining business "the noun" does not make the tactics ethical or honorable. Its your intention and the words you glorify to "sell" an insurance company. Why is it so hard to just get your customer a roof. Your intention is to maximize your profit as a broker. Your service is deceitful because you will not disclose your tactics to the homeowner or the agent. SMH. What you are essentially doing is gambling. You will never understand, cause your too far gone. Good luck to you as well.

@@RoofingInsights3.0 Your channel actually provides solid content to help new contractors and even homeowners. Her videos on KZbin are always a tease to get people to pay for her products without providing any real content or value. You are right- it is not quite a scam but certainly deceptive and not valuable to viewers. Her service may be worth the investment but I certainly am not interested. Keep up the great work.
