As an adjuster a roofer will never tell me when he can do an inspection. I’m going to show up do my inspection and make my estimate. If I miss anything we can definitely supplement, but you are not running the show. As a roofer just be cool and be honest and the adjuster will look out if he chooses too. We hate a desperate roofer. If the damage is there it will be covered.

You need a profit share contract. Don’t be afraid to go to another roofing company where they do a good profit split with you

You should get minimum 10% per deal. And you should be aiming for 30k-60k roofs (not to say discriminate against the smaller ones)

I'd think y I ud get the lead payment and also a share in the roof after it's built. Like $100-300.00 for a contract and 5% or square payment scale.

Listen there are a lot of fly by night roofing companies that pop up and fade out! You need to be the one who makes the difference in finding a way to be different from all the others! Trust through transparency is a major factor that I hold dearly. And to put 40 hours a week or more into trying to help people in need of repairs will earn you the business! Don’t ever treat people like a dollar sign! That’s what most roofing companies that die did but instead of making friends that you remember like the guy he had several classic cars and he remembers them and was a big talking point. Best approach Don’t say “we’re trying to help” Be the “I am here to help” Take charge Don’t say here’s what we found! Mr.mrs. Opportunity this is what will be repaired and what you are going to do to fix it! Give benefits into the repair! I have been in the Automotive industry for over 20 years and to apply what I have learned into roofing is all the same! Be there for the client and always be in their best interest for their needs!

It's very competitive. It's mentally and emotionally tough. Most people can't handle the rejection of sales. Most people are lazy so turnover is a real thing
