There’s a lot of roofing companies but very few of them actually know how to do it efficiently and properly

I agree. I will throw myself under the bus. When I started doing standing seam years ago I realized I knew nothing. Had to take many hands on classes and educate myself before hiring a crew or interviewing new crews

I just wanted to offer some honest feedback from one roofer to another. I think it’s great that you’re learning about marketing and putting yourself out there, but I’d be really careful about how you present your story. Saying that you got into roofing without knowing much about it and because a buddy was making money might not inspire confidence in potential customers. As roofing professionals, we need to convey integrity, diligence, and a strong sense of expertise-whether we’re just starting out or have been in the industry for years. Customers need to feel like they’re hiring someone who knows their craft and can be trusted to deliver quality work. If I were a customer watching that video, I might hesitate to hire you based on the way the story comes across. This isn’t meant to discourage you, but rather to encourage you to speak with conviction and confidence in your experience and your company’s values. It will go a long way in building trust with clients. Keep pushing forward, and best of luck in your journey!

The last 10 years in roofing has been a gold rush. The last 10 to 12 years has been the easiest 10 years in the industry. Buckle up buttercup,

I think the Colorado and Texas companies should grapple. Winner takes the name!

How did your deck contractors miscounted 8 pieces of 2x8 ? I understand maybe 1 or 2 , but 8 ? What I noticed that many don’t take time to calculate everything and just do rough counting. I hear so many stories for home remodels that starts with one number and end up 5 times more by the time they are finished and it’s not because they found something behind walls , it’s because they want to take advantage of homeowner
