Interesting take. There were 33 games at this years Major World Series and in only 6 had one of the teams exceed their normal home run limits. The majority of the games had less than 9 HR per team.

I know DW loves him but can’t have a SS on a major team that’s a good hitter and good defensively, he has to be great at at least one side of the ball.

If we are talking about Mcclanahan I think he should be used most of the time but when they trail or are playing other Major teams they would definitely have to out in more offense. That being said Samshit Sports won the conference points standings in 2022 with Ryan at ss. They also won AA last year in part to his defense on that 7 game run they went on.

I like him as a player, he can be fun to watch, I just don’t think he matches up well against the other major SS or middle man. I’m not talking just about this game specific. Later in the season and deeper into tournaments he usually shows decline. A or AA sure. I actually think he would be a nice option for pitching at the major level with good hands and reaction. There should be at least two more major teams but all the current ones carry 14-15 top players.
