Rooivalk Combat Support Helicopter - SAAF 16 Squadron - Live on board Cameras

Fly on-board with the pilots from 16 Squadron as they perform live weapons testing at the Air Capability Display that took place at Roodewal earlier this year.
South African designed & manufactured Rooivalk Combat Support Helicopter comes equipped with air-to-air missiles, anti-tank missiles and rapid-fire automatic 20 mm cannon.
The Rooivalk is based with 16 Squadron at AFB Bloemspruit.

@@osamaalafghanee8868 yes. Based on your comment. The rooivak cannot fly upside down. It can do a loop first helicopter to be able to do that. But no helicopter can fly upside down. If you know how helicopters work you"LL be able to figure out why if not I'll explain it to you

@@osamaalafghanee8868 no it cant. you are misinterpreting this "The Rooivalk is capable of making a loop and thus momentarily "flying upside down"." it can do a loop in that sense it does fly upside down but only for a short time while performing a loop, it cannot sustain upside down flight. in order to do that the rotors would need to be redesigned and there is no use or need for upside-down flight. so no it can't it can do a loop. I don't need to trust you. i know this for a fact. I've also personally spoken to pilots of the rooivalk and they have confirmed this. sorry bud

Tell that to the people who died from the apache attack helicopter and Russian attack helicopters. Attack helicopters are essential, their roles dynamic. They can support troops if their pinned down by enemy fire. Escort transport helicopters that transport troops. Help tank battalions by scouting and firing anti tank missiles. Attack helicopters are versatile, that is why the USA developed them during Vietnam and still do to this day. Rooivalk helicopter is one of the best in the world with anti air missiles, anti tank missiles, scouting capability and others. To say it's obsolete is ridiculous.
