Great endgame choice. This ending is addictive. (how about R + 2P vs R + P; or more R + P vs R ?)

Hi Stjepan, I have a question :) when you play in an OTB tournament and it's inbetween rounds, how do you research your next opponent (his games)? Is there a website where you can find anyone's games? I haven't played in an OTB tournament yet, but I'd definitely like to in the future, that's why I'm asking. :D

Yeah. Just google "opponent's name" + chess. For example Stjepan Tomić chess. And you will get websites like chesstempo, chessbomb, chess db, chess 365. All games are there. Those that have been imported into chessbase by tournament directors. The higher rated you are the higher the chances your game will go online. Only about 10-15% of my games does, which is understandable:D

Hello Stjepan. I started playing chess a while ago and I thinks your videos are really informatif and fun to watch in my free time. You're easily the best chess KZbinr I watched regularly. My favorite opening that you've explain is the kings gambit, because e4 e5 is so common on the beginners level. But even tho I know the theory of the opening and I usually end up having a stronger center than my opponent. After that, I get stuck and blunder a pawn or a piece and basically just ruined my chances. My biggest problem is I don't know how to turn a winning position into a win. Are there any advice or videos you could suggest for me to get better? Thanks ( Sorry if my English suck )

thatonerandomcat :3 Try a middlegame book! I believe ‘logical chess’ ‘capablanca’s 60 best chess endings’ ‘my system’ and ‘silman’s complete endgame course’ are all common suggestions.

It you have strong centre you will have room to manoeuvre your pieces to control space. Controlling space units your opponent's options.
