The thing I don't like about this series is that Sam has already told her that he loves her(in a roundabout sort of way) but they act like this is the first time he's ever said it which is not true. The writers should make the storyline make more sense.

It's a grenade, it has a kill radius of 5, and doesnt do a huge fireball IRL throw it in a bathroom at worse

Torric Roma that could be right; but let’s just appreciate that they’re in an industrial hotel kitchen, with major gas lines; so that probably wouldn’t go down well..... also generally a lot of paperwork for a cop if you chuck a grenade, I would assume
