Ah, this bed is MUCH better when set up as a single. When I cruised on this ship, mine was set up as a double bed, and it made the room an overall nightmare to work with. Thanks for showing this - you've given me hope that mine was just a 'bad' room!

Yeah, was cozy. Far better than a foldout couch, and the closet actually opened fully. I honestly can’t believe your version of this room actually exists.

Great useful video. I wanted to ask more about the bed. How tall are you and how did you fit on that bed? Thank you.

The bed is normal height, it’s just not as wide as the standard double bed. I’m 6’2” and fit in it just fine. The size is basically the same as if a regular bed was split into 2. I’ve slept in that configuration when I’ve sailed with friends and family. I also liked the framing around the bed. It was soft, and felt more comfortable than what would usually be a solid wall. My biggest advice for this ship specifically is do not get one of the solo studios that adjoin to another room. If it’s the standalone version like this one, you get a normal bed, but the adjoining ones have only a pull out couch. Hope this helps!

@@TravelingWithTravisindeed. I saw a couple of other videos with the other type of cabin that you are referring to because they have a really good deal going on some cabins. It can’t until I looked at them more deeply that I noticed the 2 different versions of “studio interior cabins”. And they classify them the same on the website and in the booking process. They locked the minibar the last night because they don’t have time to inventory what you may have drank so they can invoice you before you leave the ship.
