Little side note: Historically speaking Hardstyle is actually a sub-genre of Hardcore and not the other way around. Hardcore is the oldest and kind of the root of all other sub-genres in the Hard Dance scene. It basically started late 80s to early 90s. Hardstyle was originally a mix of Hardcore and Hard Trance elements made by people from the Hardcore community that felt like Hardcore is getting too fast and aggressive and it started late 90s to early 2000s, so basically a decade after Hardcore became a thing. Though today, people often refer to the "original" Hardcore from the 90s as Gabber, which was how people from the scene called themself during the 90s.

Hi. A little correction: in the early-mid 90's the entire music genre was already mostly called Gabber or (earlier) Gabberhouse, not just us, the people. We were gabbers listening and dancing to gabber. The term 'Hardcore' was hardly mentioned in the Rotterdam region until late 94 or 95, by the time happy Hardcore was developed and named as a terminology. From then on gabber, the harder underground sound was also named hardcore. The early gabber/hardcore, in response to @GULB3X has ofcourse one of its origins in the Detroit techno sound, but what has been forgotten to many, the Belgian Hard Beat and German EBM of the 80's should also be mentioned as quite influential in the evolution towards the Gabber/Hardcore sound of the early 90's. And both Detroit Techno and the German EBM have roots going back towards 70's Kraftwerk. etc etc ;-)

If you really want more of Sefa´s piano with strings etc. You should check out "Dr. Peacock & Sefa present: Symphony of Freedom (Defqon.1 at Home, 2021)". Orchestra, an opera singer, guitar, piano, lots of remixes and edits from sound tracks like Pirates of the Caribbean, Das Boat and Adagio for Strings. And at the end of the show there will even be instrument smashing! And all that, on a real ship, while sailing at sea! (And yes there are epic drone shots there as well)

You could react to Power hour 2022 with him, you missed last festival friday, so it would be fitting to make a longer one. Or another one which I can really recommend, is the extended Defqon 1 aftermovie, it is about 30min and it shows the stages from different years up to 2020. It shows how the people are, how they party etc.

Love these reactions, it’s so weird seeing people having the same reaction I had the first time a set foot on a festival/party back in the 00s as 14-15 year old (and still have everytime I feel the speakers rumble walking to a venue.) Hardcore a sub genre of hardstyle ?? Didn't think so, the first song you could call Hardcore or Hardcore Techno as they called it in Germany or later GabberHouse in the Netherlands. Was created in 1989 by pcp Marc Acardipane and released in January 1990. Hardstyle didn't arrive until 2001. With the reverse Base it really became its own genre. Some say 1999 but that was just HardHouse (the name in the Netherlands) or Hard Techno (in Germany). My first legal big Rave was "Rave The city 1" in 1991. from 10pm to 8am with 10,000 people. Was perhaps the first big rave in the Netherlands. And I still go to parties every now and then. This is also because it is now more during the day and earlier in my youth it was at night.

Such good budget headphones. one negative is that the ear cuffs are made of leather, so they sweat around your ears. but other than that. they are amazing! defenitly good. also 2 meter cable with 1meter coil extension! :D
